  1. Cease is the perfect pitcher for this defense. 9 PAs, one defensive play required.
  2. I saw that. Injury?
  3. Perez continues to bang on the door. Seriously, I don’t hate McGuire or anything, but you can’t catch him every day.
  4. Listened to Future Sox podcast. Obvious from lineups and that interview that Sox think Beard and Krogman > Misael Gonzalez, which I find surprising.
  5. Thanks. I'll give it a listen.
  6. All this improvement leads me ask a dangerous question: Are the Sox getting better at helping their hitters improve? The Royals have changed their organizational approach and it has borne fruit. Maybe the Sox are doing something similar? Tis a consummation devoutly to be wished.
  7. Never easy for a closer to get keyed up then relax then get keyed up again.
  8. I predict Cleveland will not finish 3rd in mlb in runs scored.
  9. Personally I would not let Grandal beat me here.
  10. Oscar Colas cannot make the majors fast enough.
  11. Probably indicative of what levels across the minors are gonna look like moving forward with no short season. A is gonna be pretty young, which will affect the competition in A+ too. I could see a lot of recent college guys making the jump to AA in their first years and then maybe repeating the level, rather than beating up on A+ for a full season. Now, the watch begins for Colas and Ramos to get promoted.
  12. Moving forward, I'd hit Moncada second, Robert 3rd cuz avoid the double-play, but I think Jose is pretty attached to hitting 3rd. Gonna be good to have Yo back. On a different note, does "great frame of mind" ring any alarm bells with anyone else?
  13. How long is the leash with Keuchel now? Red Sox bullpen has been struggling, but Sox can't score, do you let Keuchel get into trouble and try to go 5? Or is this more of a bullpen game?
  14. Sheets looks lost at the plate.
  15. Keuchel really does look like meat.
  16. On the bright side, at least I don't have to watch Pollock "hit."
  17. Once again, it seems like the most important player on the team is Yoan Moncada. If he's close to his 2019 form, he'll be a huge catalyst to offensive improvement. Even if he's 2021 Moncada, he'll still be a nice addition back.
