  1. I sold him short. With all the injuries and lack of command, I have been lower on him than most. Would be happy to be proven wrong.
  2. Touki Toussaint gives up 8 earnies in .2IP. Please don’t make me watch him next year.
  3. So many interchangeable 4A players. Kuhl hasn’t been great, hasn’t been awful. Soroka was awful in the rotation but okay in the pen. He’s a FA in a little over a week. Not sure having him on the roster matters. Sox could have 20 spots open on the 40 man by November. I do not know how they are going to build this into a 100 loss team.
  4. 2025 is this offseason. He needs to be added this winter, but it’s fine cuz the Sox will have about 20 spots in search of upgrade.
  5. Fedde and Kopech for 2 minor league 2b. Pretty epic fail.
  6. Eder might be interesting from the pen.
  7. In our living rooms watching something else.
  8. Why does Vargas deserve more at bats next year than Sheets? He is out of options next year and is a worse hitter right now than anyone they have. People thought I was crazy when I said he was the Dodgers version of Lenyn Sosa or Oscar Colas, but here we are. He's gotta be hitting by June of next year or he could be a roster crunch victim. One of the more disastrous trades I can remember and it was obvious from the second it was made. I'd kill to have Connor Norby instead and I'm not even a fan.
  9. My development plan for Vargas involves replacing him with Ramos.
  10. Knights storm back from a 7-2 deficit to win 9-7. Montgomery HR, SF, 3K. Coffey with another save.
  11. Sox finally win a Flexen start. Fraser Ellard now has 2 more wins than opening rotation members Flexen and Sorotka combined.
  12. I think there's still potential value as a reliever, but yeah, not a great trade.
  13. HR Montgomery. He is officially hot. Eder got killed by Kiko Goodrum. 2 HR for him.
  14. Sadly, that did not happen.
  15. It seems like Flexen pitches every third game.
  16. Montgomery 3-3 tonight. HR Gonzalez. Both Schultz and Smith got touched up a bit tonight.
  17. Why would he do that when Justin Anderson can give up a run in every single close game after the All Star break?
  18. By my count, once he gets into a game, Iriarte will be the 33rd pitcher they have used this year. Eder was also called up, but not used.
  19. I like the move. Iriarte is on the 40 man already. He either has to go to Charlotte to get used to the mlb ball or be in mlb. Results don’t matter. It’s barely any service time. Give the kid some experience so he knows what to work on in the offseason. If there’s one the Sox have it’s garbage time innings to fill.
  20. Another great outing from Pallette. 2IP 1H 0R 0ER 0bb 3K
  21. Interesting short term move for Kelley. He’s been pretty darn good at Winston Salem, but Birmingham’s pen is loaded from the right side. Probably just a doubleheader stopgap cuz it’s a short drive, still, I hope he gets an inning.
  22. Well, clearly he doesn’t have a higher floor as a starter because they all stuck in rotations, and he didn’t. As far as pure ceiling, he’s probably somewhere in the middle. Schultz, Smith, Taylor, and Iriarte all have way higher ceilings than him. Batista, Carela, Eder, Bush, and McDougal probably have similar ceilings. I think at this point, you have your view and I have mine. Either way, I hope he has a long career in the majors.
