Moniak's stats are insane. Coming into tonight 3bb 31K in 96ab. He has 32 hits in 65 non-K at-bats, almost a .500 BABIP. I hear regression rumbling down the tracks.

Cannon out after 4.2IP 5ER. Probably deserved a better fate. Hunter Dollander came in with 2 outs and let both inherited baserunners score. The issue for Cannon against a line up as patient as this one is that he lacks a put away pitch.

Watching the difference between the Sox and Orioles at Hi-A is depressing. Every Oriole, even the np ones, gives a solid ab. They never get themselves out. Cannon hasn't been bad, but they've battled and got some key bloops, lead 3-0. Jackson Holliday hammered a double in his 2nd ab. It's really the only hard hit ball of the night for either team.

Also made a great diving catch.

Man, Crews and Langford look so good. When Sox had high picks, they were in mediocre drafts. Sometimes, you’ve got to be lucky.

Sox weak farm system can only get one guy into the futures game. Sigh.

Eh, thought it was a reasonable puff piece. If he were hitting at all, no one would care one way or the other. I have always liked watching TA play and seeing him this bad is pretty heartbreaking, but I don’t really see a moral or psychiatric component to it. Maybe I’m wrong.
