I remember just after HSC announced that KW was resigning (HA!) she went on SnR and claimed his office "was empty", then 2 months later, he trades for Alomar and Everett. Yeah that really sounded like a guy who wasn't in charge I wonder if it was like in Seinfeld when George was working at Playnow and they found out he wasn't crippled and everytime he kept coming into work it was harder and harder to get into his office, he was crawling throught the air ducts. I guess Kenny crawled throught the air ducts after his office door was boarded up and called those GM's to get those trades done

Borchard wasn't called up when Maggs went on the DL (neither did Reed) so there is no doubt in my mind that if Thomas were to go on the DL that Borchard would still not get called up and the Gload/Perez platoon would continue.

I'd be willing to let Arizona have there choice of damn near anybody in the farm system Crede or Rowand. They can take Anderson Sweeney Crede Borchard whoever, but I'd love if Finley came over with RJ.

Spezio isn't listed as on the DL he may be hurt though, but he's actually have a worse, statistically, season than Joe Crede .236 .292 .438 12 HR 37 RBI Spezio .221 .294 .374 8 HR 30 RBI Although I say Spezio is a suitable replacement if they had to trade Crede to get Eddy. And he's from Joliet, does anybody know if he was a Cub or Sox fan growing up?

If I were the GM and it was a choice between Reed and Borchard in that trade, I would have traded Joe without question. With all this Joe's gonna be a star, and KW claiming JB is untochable you'd think they would have called him up when Maggs went on the DL, especially since right around the time Maggs was out of the line-up and before the surgery Joe was tearing the cover off the ball, now he's cooled down significantly

I'm hoping that the Brenly firing is the start of the D'Back fire sale. I don't know how close RJ was to Brenly, like if Brenly goes RJ would leave kind of thing. I wonder what it would take to get an RJ assuming they would trade him? I'm assuming Anderson/Borchard, Honel/Cotts/Diaz/Munoz kind of package and maybe the D'Backs throw in some BP help too. Who knows. I don't think there is any doubt that if RJ were available that KW would at least try to get him, but who knows if a.) He would want to come to Chicago and b.) JR would take on his salary, though from the sound of it he is saying, through KW that he would take on "significant" payroll.

Young's definately got a chance to be a 20-20 guy possible 25-25 if he can get on a HR tear. I know that he can hit HR's and he's a speedster, but how is his D? Range and arm?

The FOX game is based on where you live california is gonna get the A's Ginats game because they play in California. We never get the Sox National game on FOX unless they are playing a team on the West Coast.
