Stone mentioned this earlier that Jeter is 1,000 hits away from tying Rose. He's 38, and a few years ago looked like he was on a major decline, but now looks like he could play at an elite level for a few years to come. I honesty hope he can get those hits. That would be truly amazing to see.

Gonna need a HUGE game from Sale tonight. Hopefully he'll bring his A game against the Yanks and his mid-90's velocity.

Before all the injuries and major slumpage this season, I would have said yes in 2013, but he'd have to finish strong this season and have a hell of a contract year (certainly a possibility) to reach 449. But I think the Sox will resign him anyway and he'll break it. I also think he has an outside chance at 500 should he decide to keep playing another 5-6 years, although those years wont all be for the Sox...
