  1. Huge test for Gavin tomorrow. He has no idea how to be average. He's either gonna be lights out or get completly shelled. Let's hope for the former.
  2. If there was ever a year a White Sox player would get voted in to START the All-Star game it would have to be the almost .400 hitting First Baseman on the South Side. I swear to God if ESPN profiled Paulie even a little bit he'd be a lock... But it'll just wind up being Prince or Pujols
  3. I'm gonna puke if it's the Sunday line-up with a chance to sweep the team ahead of you. That'd just be irresponsible...
  4. QUOTE (Jake @ May 26, 2012 -> 09:28 AM) Dunn in particular seems to do a very good job of getting a big shot off of starters before they're sharp in the first inning. Let's hope De Aza and Beckham are both on for that blast.
  5. Peavy has pitched pretty much lights out this season, and Cleveland is down three guys who usually mash vs. the Sox. So he should be good. It's all a matter of can the Sox get to Lowe early before the sinker starts sinking good. Gotta get it up. If they're pounding it into the ground early it's gonna be a long day....
  6. QUOTE (flavum @ May 25, 2012 -> 08:34 PM) That's what I said the first time I watched him pitch. Similar motion. I thought he looked like Cliff Lee a little bit
  7. Qunitana pitched better than Danks has most of this season. And at >1% of the cost! (don't check my math.)
  8. QUOTE (chw42 @ May 25, 2012 -> 08:20 PM) I know Cabrera got hurt, who else got hurt today? Santana took one off the mask and left the game... Could be a concussion, or just took him out as a precaution since they were out of the game anyway
  9. Beat them and 2 of their only few actual good players go down with injuries. Offense kicking it into gear the last week or so, if the pitching can stay steady they'll be in good shape.
  10. Don't know if its been mentioned but Quintana has a very Cliff Lee like delivery...
  11. Would it be too much to ask for a sweep? Yeah.... probably.
  12. Of every young player ? going into this season, De Aza's been the most consistent and solid. Can't believe he wasn't leading off last season....
  13. Closer in a Non-Save situation = NEVER good.

What kind of stuff does Heidenreich have?
  15. It's the s***ty Twins. They are not good at baseball. get your head out of your ass White Sox
  16. Yeah, bulls*** it just "cropped up" during the Cubs game. More like all season for the most part.
  17. QUOTE (Noonskadoodle @ May 24, 2012 -> 11:03 AM) The Indians sure are playing well. Yet does anyone think they're gonna stick up in contention? The fans sure don't. So, technically... The Sox are in first place haha

QUOTE (StrangeSox @ May 24, 2012 -> 08:37 AM) Pitchfork really did not like Neck of the Woods. Well... I did. That's all I care about haha

QUOTE (farmteam @ May 23, 2012 -> 09:15 PM) I'm liking the off of Gaslight Anthem's upcoming record. Dig that single a lot. Looking forward to the new one. So since there are a few albums coming out in June and there's almost no way they'll get a fair shake as far as listening and ranking goes, here's the my halfway through 2012 Top Albums List: 1. Dr. Dog - Be the Void 2. Margot & The Nuclear So and So's - Rot Gut Domestic 3. Silversun Pickups - Neck of the Woods 4. Tenacious D - Rize of the Fenix 5. Punch Brothers - Who's Feeling Young Now? 6. fun. - Some Nights 7. Sleigh Bells - Reign of Terror 8. Great Lakes Swimmers - New Wild Everywhere 9. Andrew Bird - Break It Yourself 10. The Shins - Port of Morrow
  20. I didn't realize it was a throwback game.... What the f*** Gavin? Worst f***ing team in baseball and they score 2 runs on a CG from a nobody... Old School.
  21. Yeah, I'm over Hawk. He's been the Sox announcer for as long as I've known about baseball and have loved his calls in the past, but yeah, he's got to go. The idea that Hawk being passionate somehow makes him a good announcer doesn't make sense to me. I'm passionate about the Sox, I don't need to guy calling the games to be that way. I wan't him to just... call the game. Of course he's not going to go anywhere unless nature...uh, takes it's course. I became of fan of Josh Lewin when he was calling Ranger games a few years ago. Just the right amount of excitement without bordering on being a Homer.
  22. QUOTE (Steve9347 @ May 22, 2012 -> 12:19 PM) The Sox list Orlando Hudson as #5 on the team website. Ozzie is safe. Now we'll never get David Wright!
  23. There's no doubt Kenny is gonna offer that number to him... haha
  24. QUOTE (Steve9347 @ May 22, 2012 -> 08:36 AM) Greg would s*** himself if O-Dawg wore 13. If he wore 13, that would be the greatest thing to happen this season.
  25. Funny Josh Fields story.... I'm in New Orleans for work right now and I took in a minor league game. It was Zephyrs vs. Isotopes, Josh Fields is starting at first. He got a few hits, but looked mediocre like he does. I'm sitting next to at least 6-7 scouts. Josh is at the plate and skies a pop up to short. Suddenly he just starts busting ass around first, before he even gets to second the short stop has caught the ball, but Josh digs hard to second and keeps on chugging to third before finally walking back to the dug out. Every scout is in tears laughing at him. None of them know what to think. Some saying "What the hell is he doing?" and "I have never seen that before" What an ass.
