  1. There's definitely guys still here that we can non-tender, DFA though. Justin Anderson, Enyel De Los Santos, Ron Marinaccio (who?), Pen Murfee, Gus Varland, Chuckie Robinson, Jacob Amaya, Braden Shewmake, Corey Julks, Gavin Sheets are easily guys that can be cut and no one would care about. And someone who some seem to think could be a candidate to be non-tendered like Vaughn.
  2. Yeah, this seems like it probably could have been a minor league deal with a promise of adding him to the active roster Day 1 of the season.
  3. Yeah, he's a fine bench piece on this team.
  4. He's always hit better against lefties it looks like. Platoon/4th OF option.
  5. In buy-low type of deals, sure. In deals for our best players? No (unless they’re like the third piece at most).
  6. I don’t think the price is that bad if the only reason you pay for a YouTube TV or Hulu TV is for live sports in the first place (which you would cancel).
  7. Those last 2 came in a deal for a guy who was one of the worst SP and another guy who was one of the worst RP that year so not really the same page.
  8. I think he was saying Lux for Robert plus
  9. That's fair. I'd trade basically a lottery ticket or two for the chance he has a good year to flip but I'm not trading anything more valuable than that. Don't really want him either.
  10. BeCaUsE hE dIdN't Do WeLl HiS fIrSt CaLlUp As A 20 YeAr OlD.
  11. I think the point is that you're not going to get highly touted prospects/MLB players for slot money. More lottery ticket type guys who can blow up and would you be a huge win or would fizzle out and you would forget they even had him.
  12. Who? Knowing the Sox, their shopping bin probably consists of: Carlos Santana (can finish his tour of all the ALC teams), Anthony Rizzo, Joey Gallo, and like, Mark Canha. That tier of guys.
  13. I can easily see them trying to deal AB with Crochet but don’t see Robert for Lux. Doesn’t make sense to lessen your return for an ace but this is the White Sox here. They don’t deserve benefit of the doubt. Absolutely a possibility until he’s traded alone.
  14. Yeah if that all happened, you’re looking at around 250 losses over 2 seasons. Might be the case trading Crochet and Robert in good deals regardless.
  15. Hopefully my smart tv will have it.
  16. By dumb luck really. A guy like Chris Sale who’s too good to f*** up comes along.
  17. After the 2029 season. 5 years of control.
  18. I’d be more concerned if he was a RHH and he had extreme platoon splits.
  19. I don't mind that when the young player is the strong side. Can just adda RHH 4th OF type to platoon.
  20. Not necessarily. Rafaela could move from the outfield back to the infield with Duran moving to CF. Or Abreu is part of a White Sox deal.
  21. I like him as a second or third piece.
