Yeah. Shit happens.

Why even put Hamilton in if you aren't running with him?

No reason to bunt to third when you have a guy on second who can score from 2nd on a hit.

Arozarena is a good call.

If anyone bet on him before the season it would be @ron883. Yo ron, you bet on Mercedes to win RoY?

Wonder what those odds were beginning of the season.

Yeah and he should continue getting every day at bats but if he doesn't come around or is not hitting for enough power later in the season, I think it's obvious who would be replaced when everyone else comes back.

Idk guys. Think we could just agree to disagree. Let the people who like and support him continue to do that and everyone else who wants to vent about poor decisions should be able to.

That slider, wow.

Weird but ok.

Just keep ignoring him and winning boys!

Anyone else remember when Tim tweeted something negative when Tony was hired?

The TLR Manager Thread
How so? I think everyone who has said: "I don't think the players really listen to him" are actually correct considering he just blatantly said it lol

Willy Adames traded to Brewers. It's Wander time.

Damn, well there's that. Edit: looking at their splits, hopefully Leury gets on a lot for Vaughn and his .308 average, .471 OBP against lefties.

Good point on Rodon's catcher comment.

Probably getting the start tomorrow with afternoon game. Weird to play the lefty against the lefty tonight and switch-hitter against righty tomorrow thought but probably doesn't matter much. Also, I'd move Leury to 9th and then everyone else up a spot. Edit: someone pointed out that Collins usually catches Rodon.

Who will be the RFer by the end of the season?
I still think it will be Lamb. You will have Garcia and Hamilton that both hit from the left-side and Leury and Mendick both play the positions he can, plus a couple more. There isn't a lot of room for him to get at bats anywhere besides center (with Abreu at 1st, Vaughn in LF, and the Adam platoon in in RF).

Now that you have quoted him, he should.

Addressing the OF shortage (Robert Injury Spinoff)
If he's not the guy they want beyond this season, they could always deal him in the off-season. Kinda use him as a rental while we have guys out. But I agree, I'd rather add a lefty and not for a high price.

The TLR Manager Thread
All you need to do is go back to the thread when he was hired. It was probably 95% negative if not more.
-
The TLR Manager Thread
He's far too gone.

The TLR Manager Thread
Right. It'll be a few weeks of watching winning baseball, questioning lineups and pitching changes here and there and then he will say or do something stupid.

Where things stand today (AL-NL imbalance)
Angels were already in last place with Trout. Sure they were better with him when he was healthy but that doesn't make them a good team.
