    I can't remember but was it announced that the extra inning rule would be in effect in playoffs? I hope not.

    Oh I know. Just that Terrance Gore has been picked up by playoff bounds teams it seems like towards end of year last few years.

    Well yeah I always assumed this was the work around. The "player to be named later" and then resolving it within the 6 months or whatever.

    Going forward, I'm good with expanded playoffs, but maybe not 16 teams. 6 in each league would be fine with me (top 2 teams gets a bye the first round?). Especially with baseball likely expanding to 32 teams soon.
