Same. But if Vaughn is not on the team opening day, I don't see Collins hitting 6th before Robert as the DH, which is who I'm sticking in the 8 spot (or Leury or Engel or whoever plays that day with someone else shifting to DH).

Posted this in another thread, but I always assumed in would go 6-9: Robert, DH, Eaton, Madrigal. With all this Eaton stuff we've heard so far, I'm thinking he hits second, shifting Robert, DH, Madrigal 7-9.

I'm so excited about this team and I go through periods where I honestly forget they hired LaRussa. I don't know how I keep doing it but it's almost like I can't fully comprehend this ridiculous hire. Even past the DUI stuff: age (why would he want to put himself through this at almost 80? The JR special of hiring guys who don't even want the job lol), hasn't managed in almost a decade, already in the HoF, etc. The good news is the team should be good enough to where it's hard for him fuck it up.

2 years/ $20 mill. Would have loved that deal too.
