Said he feels good Thorpe is back throwing, but may not reach the bigs this season bc of appendectomy. S. Smith is on a good trajectory. Billy Carlson will start a rehab in Arizona on Saturday.

Yeah I think you have to considering his age and the success he’s had/having. Rough one for Pierce George in an otherwise very promising season. McDougall had a nice inning in relief of Cannon. No baserunners and a K in one inning.

I see Elko is at 1B for the Dash.

Had you told me 6 weeks ago we’d still be in this spot despite not having Mune, I would take it every single time. That’s not to say he’s going to be a miracle worker, but getting back your most impactful hitter is a big deal.

I figure he’s moreso calling it poor batted ball luck than saying Boston got lucky by making the plays.

In Lip’s defense, he’s very consistent in his party poopage.

I think every team looks dead when they aren’t hitting, which these guys definitely are not. Last couple games have been such a let down.

I wish Vargas would just take that himself instead of the soft toss to Martin.

I don’t remember where I bought it from, but I do remember it selling out pretty quick. I got lucky. It’s a little surprising they haven’t made them more available based on how popular it seemed to be.

Right they had to change his fastball shape. But it was able to play in the minors the way it was. Unfortunately sometimes adjustments need to be made at the highest level, which might be what we’re watching with Schultz. It is frustrating as hell though, I don’t blame anyone for being annoyed.

I don’t think he’s any harder to watch than Cease was when he first came up. He’s far from a finished product.
