Zavala is a shit catcher. I almost think he’s a better hitter than catcher. he’s horrible.

I can’t imagine this place if there was an actual pennant race. I totally understand if you need an outlet for your frustrations. but the Sox have this. I’m pretty sure they’re treating the rest of the season like playoff Spring Training. I wouldnt get too upset by the day-to-day. Just stay healthy.

That’s a loss that could have been a win. I’m not too upset about it, though. Nothing struck me as anything to get overly upset about.

I remember with the Jays Ricciardi hated spending on international guys, and reveled in the pirates signing of Sano as a reason to avoid. That’s my everlasting memory of Sano. False vindication for the bad strategy of a bad GM.

Yeah, I really don’t like him behind the plate. Seems like a nice enough kid, though. I’m really surprised how little action he’s got back there. Zavala isn’t exactly setting the bar high. I’d say he’s below average on D and awful on O.
