  1. The responsibility of the draft lies primarily with the Scouting Director, so to judge a GM based on successes or failures in the draft doesn’t make a ton of sense.
  2. There’s no guarantee anyone will get a hit against anyone. That’s a silly way to look at it. The dodgers aren’t trying to legitimize themselves as players. They are trying to win the series they keep losing.
  3. Regular season is different from facing a specialized loogie in a short series.
  4. I think the point is that many pitchers can look like an ace for one game.
  5. I dunno...it’s hard to know what motivates a guy, but he’s 33 years old. This is probably his last shot at a big multi-year deal, so I doubt he cares about his role as much as the years/AAV.
  6. Phillies: 33.3% Yankees: 33.3% White Sox: 33.4%
  7. Don’t ban him! He’s my source!
  8. That’s what you took from that?
  9. He still put up a 4+ WAR season, which is more than Harper can say.
  10. We probably have more need for the guy Diaz was traded for than for Diaz himself.
  11. Come on guys, he’s got a point. Only the White Sox should acquire players because resources and roster spots are unlimited.
  12. Interesting the game power is higher than the raw power. Don’t see that very often.
  13. That’s by far the best he’s looked, not just in terms of results, but also his stuff. His fastball was harder than I’d seen before and like you said had a ton of movement. It looked like he was cutting, running, and sinking with ease. Very encouraging. Good for him.
  14. It’s among the dumbest things I’ve read here.
  15. Future HOFer to future DFAer in about one month.
  16. Oh, I could sense the sarcasm. Was just kind of continuing your thought. I Should have made that more clear.
  17. His opt-out date is June 1st
  18. Law gets bad info because people in the industry generally don’t like him. Was told this by a Blue Jays crosschecker. I take him with a grain of salt.
  19. Yeah, great for his development to not play.
  20. Yeah, he’s doing well so far.
  21. Thanks for checking on this. Elmore was replaced late in a 1-0 game, so could have been a defensive replacement move. I don’t think Elmore plays much LF.
  22. Are you for real? He should be in the minors unless he’s immediately an ace. Think before you type
