The main reason why this particular game bothered me is because they beat themselves. If they get blown out but don’t beat themselves, fine. But that 6 run inning was pathetic and set the tone for the rest of the game.

Yeah I wouldn’t hate that. Could still be a valuable player even as a reliever.

Are they turning Nastrini into a reliever? He only pitched 1 inning.

I think the only reason Amaya has survived this long is his ability to play shortstop. They seem to value that. I would rather have kept Workman over him though.

It’s a less talented roster than last year so not all that surprising. At least they can get the #1 pick this time.

Not Dodgers related, but is it too much to ask for Justin Crawford from the Phillies? Robert is a massive upgrade over Johan Rojas and obviously the Sox need more young outfield talent.

Might be somewhat of a nitpick, but I wouldn’t consider Steven Wilson a miss yet. He’s looked good recently and perhaps could be flipped for a prospect down the line.

Health plays a factor in everything when you are almost 90. One illness and someone could head downhill.

Considering Jerry is damn near 90, I think trying to project timelines for this whole process is pretty silly.
