I just don’t know how they are going to navigate having both Paez and Alberto on the roster together. They are both so raw and inexperienced. If one of them sticks throughout the season, I’d consider that a win.

Cmon man. I don’t know whether he would’ve been good or not, but it’s not like the Sox bullpen was full of Mariano Rivera’s. It puzzled me that they never gave him a chance even with all the roster churning they did.

Pallette struck out over 11 per 9 at the AAA level. Who’s to say he’s not better than them? They never even gave him the chance to prove that one way or the other.

I see at least 5 or 6 guys currently on the 40-man I would have cut before Pallette, but it’s most likely just shuffling deck chairs on the titanic.

I’m not going to lose sleep over losing Pallette, but not protecting him didn’t make any sense to me. It’s not like they have so much talent that there’s a roster crunch. Whatever.

If they trade for Robbie Ray, they could have a rotation with Kay, May, and Ray

Meyers doesn’t really do anything for me honestly. But he seems to mash at the Rate.

Wisdom couldn’t even hit lefties in his most recent MLB sample and is now 34. Unless it’s a spring training invite, I don’t get the point of this.

Fair. I’d like Benintendi off the team entirely but I’m not expecting that to happen until 2027 if at all. I’d just like more power and for all of Garcia’s flaws, at least he hits homers.

At that point you might as well sign Adolis Garcia to play RF and move Baldwin to a super utility role.

If Vargas has actual trade value, I wouldn’t mind trading him. I think he could be useful but I’m not convinced he has enough power to be above average at either corner. But I find it hard to believe they would get something of significance for him.

I’m getting Cam Booser PTSD but at least this guy is significantly younger.

I somewhat understood the Booser trade because he had a lot of team control and was a “fresh” arm despite being older. Thought there was at least a possibility they could flip him for something better. But needless to say it hasn’t worked out.

The Booser and Gilbert trades were just so bad in hindsight.

Hanser Alberto. Guy was a bum.

His stuff looked better than I thought. He’s still fairly young too. Maybe they have something in him.

If he keeps playing like this, 2 years/$40 million will look like a bargain.
