  1. When is the Rollins as the #2 hitter experiment going to end? It clearly isn't working.
  2. What happened to Navarro? It looked like he was running in slow motion LMAO.
  3. Where is Chicago White Sox? We need him to start every game thread for the foreseeable future.
  4. QUOTE (pettie4sox @ May 18, 2016 -> 08:27 PM) Atleast Sale is going tomorrow. That's the thing though. Sale has a chance to win the Cy Young this year, but that doesn't mean that he's going to be perfect in every outing. It's not fair to put all the pressure on him and Q to carry the rest of the team. They're going to have clunkers occasionally as well. The best case scenario is that they win 2 out of 5 games for the Sox in a given rotation cycle. This team desperately needs a shake up before things spiral out of control. I dearly hope that the game in Texas didn't kill all the momentum the Sox had.
  5. Lawrie is due for a dinger here.
  6. I expected some regression to the mean after that ridiculous hot streak, but this is starting to become unwatchable. The team is just bad in every aspect right now.
  7. QUOTE (Tony @ May 18, 2016 -> 08:09 PM) I've been curious about this for a while, what does hitting that button actually do? It makes us b**** about the Sox even more than normal haha.
  8. Is it time to press the panic button?
  9. Have the home plate umps been horrible lately or is it just me?
  10. More s*** defense by Frazier. Unreal.
  11. Literally nothing is going right. Ugh.
  12. He's throwing pure BP. s***.
  13. This is going to be a long night.
  14. QUOTE (OmarComing25 @ May 18, 2016 -> 09:14 AM) No it's pretty much a bad thing 99% of the time. It's intentionally giving away outs. QUOTE (shysocks @ May 18, 2016 -> 09:15 AM) Very rarely is it a good idea. That's why I said in the right situations. I'm not a fan of bunting early in games or in low leverage situations, but if you're down by 1 with no outs in the bottom of the 9th with guys on 1st and 2nd, you bunt. To me, it really depends on the situation and the matchups.
  15. QUOTE (shysocks @ May 18, 2016 -> 09:08 AM) #1, stop bunting. PLEASE. #2, and I know it's been beaten to death, but we have ten hitters who you'd call regulars. Why are two of the worst ones hitting second all the time? Lawrie or Melky could easily slide in there. Some would call changing the batting order right now a panic move. I'd call it smart. Bunting isn't necessarily a bad thing if there are guys that know how to do it in the right situations. The problem is that no one on the Sox can lay them down consistently.
  16. Let's hope that today is the day where the Sox get their sh!t together again. On a positive note, the Sox have had the lead or been tied in most of their recent games, so at least they aren't getting destroyed.
  17. Abreu swings at offspeed stuff every time. It's like clockwork.
  18. At least they tied it. Good.
  19. QUOTE (flavum @ May 17, 2016 -> 10:01 PM) Can't wait to see what the Sox record is on June 19th. Anything less than 42-28 isn't good enough after starting 23-10. I'd prepare to be disappointed if I were you.
  20. The Sox are falling back to Earth. Fast.
  21. This is a big game for the Sox. Cleveland, Detroit, and Kansas City all won today. The Sox need to pull this one out so they don't lose ground.
