9/26 Sox vs. Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim 1:10PM - final home game
They will add a couple of hitters to the present lineup this off season. There will be numerous players on this team that won't be back next year.

Sox looking at building in South Loop
JRs son David wanted to take over the White Sox. Problem was he died a few years ago.

Sox looking at building in South Loop
I've read a number of times that 20% of fans attending White Sox games use public transportation.

Sox looking at building in South Loop
Both sides will come together and the stadium will be built. JR is going to have to come up with some big money to make it happen. But it will get done.

Sox looking at building in South Loop
I'm looking forward to the new stadium. Hopefully it will be designed right this time and become "The New Baseball Palace of the World"

Sox looking at building in South Loop
Today is the day the White Sox have a media event at Block 78. It should be interesting.

Foster to DL, Eder up
Maybe if Eder does well the next 2 weeks he can be traded back to Miami for Burger.
-
Reinsdorf releases statement to say he'll speak more later
I would like to think that the 2025 White Sox season will be better than the 2024 season.

Sox looking at building in South Loop
Amazon was going to build at Block 78. The City Council was going to approve the money for the infrastructure and CTA L train. Amazon backed out of the deal. I would think the City Council would approve the money for the infrastructure and CTA L Train if the new stadium is approved.

Sox looking at building in South Loop
When Daley denided the permit to Allyn, Allyn started talking to Milwaukee about moving the team there.

Sox looking at building in South Loop
Art Allyn wanted to build a baseball stadium at Roosevelt and Clark in 1967 with his own money. Mayor Daley wouldn't give him the permit to build the stadium.

And that's a White Sox Winner???
Tremendous victory!!!!

Sox looking at building in South Loop
I'm expecting the next few years will have very low payrolls. Will the money be used towards building the new stadium in the South Loop?

Sox looking at building in South Loop
The new White Sox stadium will happen. JR will have to pay for half of it. ($600 million) It will be a great thing for the franchise. The new White Sox stadium is a better deal for the city than the Bears stadium.

Getz’s Hilarious Hypocrisy
I heard Getz say there's not going to be any short cuts to this situation. Which tells me they're not going to spend any money this off season on any good free agents. Looks like a few more real bad years.

Boyer: 2025 Ticket Prices down 10% on average, Schriffen and Stone expected back
Its a great thing to lower the prices. After all, you can't beat fun at the old ballpark!!!!

Jake Burger trade
Maybe the White Sox can trade for Burger and bring him back for the 2025 season.

The Sox aren't spending "right now"
Older White Sox fans remember how Harry Caray changed his act when he went to the Cubs. The Cubs ownership would have never tolerated the real Harry Caray. Caray became a houseman for the Cubs.
-
The Sox aren't spending "right now"
Steve Stone said on TV the other night that alot of the present players won't be on the team next year. Maybe he knows something that we don't.

Gamethread 8/7: We're #1 at #2
I hope you're right.

The streak has reached 21. Raise a glass.
I'm under the impression that the owners don't care if this team loses.
-
Royals @ Sox, 7/31, 1:10 PM
This ownership/management team rubs me as if they're content with this losing situation. They've done nothing to improve this team since the beginning of this season.

Crochet Trade Updates (Nightengale)
After getting nothing for Fedde I'm beginning to worry that we get nothing for Crochet.
-
Fedde/Pham/$ to STL, Kopech to LAD, Miguel Vargas + prospects to Sox
Wouldn't the team be better off if Fedde wasn't traded and still on the team? To get nothing for him is bad. I remember when Hahn traded David Robertson to the Yankees for nothing. I couldn't relate trading a good pitcher for nothing. Trading Fedde for nothing is similar to the Robertson trade. This was nothing but a salary dump. The payroll next year will probably be the lowest in MLB. Low payroll equals big profits for JR.

7-27 game thread Sox Vs Ms, looking for lucky #13
From what I've been told if JR was to sell the team he would have to pay almost $300 million in capital gain taxes. In other words, he's not selling the team as long as he's living.
