  1. So all of a sudden, the White Sox, notorious for being under the radar and keeping their moves under wraps until deals are complete, have info leaking out to the media about their managerial search. Let alone, literally the first person mentioned by media to be getting an interview is now 100% guaranteed (in the eyes of some) to get the job, if he chooses. IMO, something seems very fishy about the whole ordeal and what we've heard.
  2. He thinks that, "if he wants, it's his". He doesn't know, it's his opinion, just like Bob. I'm saying he wasn't told that he's candidate numero uno, he thinks this. If they both turn out to be right, it'll be incredibly stupid of this organization, veering off the path of using logic and reasoning over dumbassery in recent years.
  3. The previous posts, to me, seemed more sky is falling panicky, rather than giving the full context of what he said. Felt like it was important to clear that up for those who didn't listen and we're just reading along here.
  4. Who else besides old reliable Bob has said he's their first choice? Anyone credible?
  5. Dude, he confirmed they're going to interview him, which we all know. He gave his opinion on a percentage of the likelihood of it happening, prefaced with he's not a betting man. His interview didn't give off the opinion that he had any inside knowledge at all, he was just guessing. What sense would it make, in the Sox's theoretical playoff window, to NOT go after manager that is supposed to lead them through the entirety of said window?
  6. Man, they're gonna talk to him, but it's not as if they aren't going to interview anyone else throughout this entire process. Considering the way the team has operated recently by breaking all the stupid White Soxian stereotypes of old, and considering what the Bulls have done as well, I think it's just doing due diligence and getting the opinion of a HOF manager. Nothing more. Go take a walk or something and chill out, it'll be ok lol.
  7. Teams that only play on the road have existed in Indy ball before, and are usually extremely terrible. I don't see the MLBPA going for something like that.
  8. I believe Bauer did it during one inning of a game to increase his spin rates, then stopped for the remainder to prove a point.
  9. Just for those who are catching up late
  10. And people said nothing was going to happen! I'm surprised but excited to see what happens next.
  11. It used to be determined based on standings, whereas it now seems it's determined by market size, at least that's what I gathered from this.
  12. On Fegan's podcast today he basically said that Hahn's media session is expected to happen this week, but just isn't scheduled yet.
  13. Ozzie is fine where he's at right now.
  14. I don't know that I'd agree about leaving Cordero in, but regardless, Stoney wasn't a fan.
  15. Cork and Kerry and Turtles are the bars right by the park. If you're by Halsted near the park, Mitchell's is another I've gone too post games, but there's several options along the way over there.
