Exactly, the dumbassery of this org knows no bounds. Only they would hire a manager that hadn't managed in 10 years and then somehow entertain the possibilty to hire another manager that hasn't managed in 10 years and also legitimately quit on your team once before. Mind blowing stuff.

The chatter locally has been driven by sports radio & the RSN talking heads which I think is just fueling the fire for a section of fans. While it may ultimately mean nothing in the end, it's rather unavoidable on a daily basis.

That's also fair. I'm trying to contain any rage until an actual announcement is made, it's just the constant chatter surrounding him that's just getting to me.

Until the Sox prove that they've removed their heads from their own asses, they don't get the benefit of the doubt. We've seen it too many times in the past to just keep in ignoring the red flags continuously slapping us in the face.

Hiring Ozzie after forcing TLR down the team's throat would be another incompetent feather in Jerry's cap.

The local media is banging the drum the loudest for this to happen while everyone else (nationally) has been pretty quiet outside of Heyman this morning. At this point I really just want Ozzie to go away.
