If you're there by 10 though, you'd probably be the first in line

Koch thinks he will regain closer job
Manuel has no balls. Indecisiveness comes with him being your manager. And Manuel has been doing the Closer By Committee managerial style..... AGAIN! JM doesn't have the cajones to tell Botch that he's no longer the closer (I personally wouldn't bring Botch into any game with less than a 4-run lead) or to use Gordon or Marte consistently as a closer because of his reliance on the lefty/righty righty/lefty match-up. Opposing managers (see: Pinella) can read JM like an open book.

A Rumor that is
Your opinion..... but I wouldn't go that far

Koch thinks he will regain closer job
I think he just sucks. Never liked him. Never wanted him. Was against the trade from day one. And I knew that at least 1-run would score when they brought Botch in in the 8th inning yesterday. This guy cannot do anything!!!!! As for Jerry's quote..... it sounds like it should be soaked in green. Hopefully they can unload this waste of a roster spot on some other unfortunate team in a trade package before July 31.

O's deal?
I wouldn't go nearly that far. Ponson has 13 wins, Wright is getting lit up at AAA. I'm telling you..... we trade for Ponson in '03 and he'll become the Belcher of '93 .

O's deal?
Everyone's a fluke to you except Frank Thomas And what is the love affair, that some on this board have, with Ponson? This guy is no better, IMHO, than Wright.

Thanks for the correction. Someone should wake Farmio up when Rooney's going ape-s*** in the booth

Are you saying that the Blue Jays have been thrown out every time, because that's not possible. I'm not saying it. Rooney said it. I was shocked to hear him give that stat myself. I'm assuming it's true because Farmer didn't correct him.- A little taste of Canada
So Cubbish- Koch
He did. I was at work, listening on AM 1000, and John Rooney snapped when Hinske swiped that bag off Botch, from the stretch and without a throw from Alomar, which lead to the 6th run for Toronto. Rooney said something like..... That's awful. That base was stolen 100% on Koch. Alomar never had a chance. Koch didn't even try to hold him at first. Now a single becomes a double. Toronto came into the game with 17 steal attempts..... and had been thrown out 17 times. Unbelievable. An RBI base hit followed. Sounded like Rooney has had enough of Botch's antic too.- Olvio

20,000 and some change. But the game was in Toronto- MY how the wind's shifted gears..........
Trade?- MY how the wind's shifted gears..........
We ain't in first yet Take one game at a time. With us playing KC three times next week, the "wind's could shift gears" and blow it right back in our faces.- A little taste of Canada
Yeah. It's not like he hit any big 2 out hits or HR's for the Sox this year- Koch
Only Maury and Guido . I didn't want this batting practice pitching closer. Botch should have made the AllStar team with Foulke..... only Botch should have been pitching on Monday so we could have seen some REAL bombs- Olvio
Olivo has speed and a cannon arm. He has shown that he can hit ML pitching and when he does, the hits are usually ropes. In time, Olivo will be a .240-.250 guy near the bottom of our order. I'll take that. He'll adjust to ML pitching. Give him time.- Hawk Harrelson
Hawk's going ebonic. Pretty soon he'll be referring to HR's as the "Hizzrizzle fizzle." - VH1's 200 greatest pop culture icons
