AND THAT'S A WHITE SOX WINNER CARLOS RODON NO HITTER EDITION!!!!!
Buehrle had a third time he went 27 up 27 down too. Two singles, two double plays against Cleveland in 2004 I think?

MLB to move All Star Game, Draft out of Atlanta due to GA Voting Law
For some communities the nearest DMV can be an hour drive away and only open during working hours and if you don't own a car you're basically out of luck if you want to get an ID. If you're so concerned about "election integrity" then push for a free ID to be given upon registration and make voter registration automatic.

2021 BOLD predictions thread
Eloy wins MVP. Yes you read that correctly, he's just that good when he comes back.

Happy PECOTA Day!
They have the Sox only scoring 11 runs more than the Indians. Also how are the median projected wins at 83 if the run differential is projected to be -10?
-
Hector wrong. Again. - Cruz back with Min
They need another SP for depth, but people overrate the quality of the back end of most rotations. 1-5 The Sox are currently projected as the 7th best rotation in baseball, and 2nd in the AL at half a win behind the Yankees. Looking at the rotations projected below the Sox only Cleveland's is currently one I would say is probably better with the Blue Jays, Athletics, Astros and Twins in the same range.

2020 Election Thoughts
If Trump doesn't run again in 2024, at this point who is the favorite to win the GOP primary? Pence and Cotton are charisma black holes, Hawley is too much of a dweeb, and the Trump kids are losers who are unlikely to be able to inspire the same kind of cultish loyalty their father did, especially if the GOP tries to distance themselves from Trump over the next four years. I don't see them going back to boring old establishment candidates either though. The MyPillowGuy maybe?

Sox @ A’s - Wildcard Game 3 - 2:10
It also hasn't been that tight of a zone for the Sox hitters, like that first pitch to Madrigal.
-
Sox @ A’s - Wildcard Game 3 - 2:10
I wouldn't call hitting a ball 110 mph a sign of being a mental midget.

Sox @ A’s - Wildcard Game 3 - 2:10
You're not getting Lynn without Vaughn and Clevinger is currently hurt.

Sox @ A’s - Wildcard Game 3 - 2:10
I forget, who were the other SP besides Lynn and Clevinger?
-
Sox @ A’s - Wildcard Game 3 - 2:10
Considering Lynn wasn't traded I don't think we would have gotten him without giving up Vaughn.

Sox @ A’s - Wildcard Game 3 - 2:10
This game is brutal to watch, nearly three hours in and not even through 5

Sox @ A’s - Wildcard Game 3 - 2:10
Hell of an at bat by Mazara

Sox @ A’s - Wildcard Game 3 - 2:10
Yeah I don't get blaming Renteria here, he pulled everyone when they were clearly faltering and had nothing left.

Sox @ A’s - Wildcard Game 3 - 2:10
I like having Lamb out of there.

Wild Card playoff thread Sox at A's Game 1 - First Pitch at 2 PM CT
How many have they lost in a row?
-
9/27 GT: Cubs @ Sox (2:10pm)
At least under the old rules the Sox would have still been in as 2nd wild card I guess?
-
Magic Number: Playoffs - 0; Division - 4
If the standings stay as they are right now, then the Twins would get the Yankees in the playoffs yet again.

AND THAT'S A WHITE SOX WINNER!!!!!!!!!!
Against non-White Sox opponents the Tigers are 19-17 and the Royals are 19-19.

The LEGEND of Luis Robert ESPN feature article
Last six games he has a 1:1 BB/K ratio at 7.7% each. This is a very arbitrary cutoff but just want to do a quick comparison: 7/24-8/23 36.4 K% 48.0% O-Swing% 55.6% Contact % 26.7% Swinging Strike% 39.8% O-Contact% 8/25-8/31 7.7 K% 41% O-Swing% 13.7% Swinging Strike% 76.3% Contact% 76% O-Contact% He's been making a ton of more contact lately and though his chase rate is still high it looks like he's making a big improvement there. He was already killing it with a 55% contact rate so if he can maintain 70% going forward he's going to have video game numbers.

Twins were swept twice by those same bums.

AND THATS A WHITE SOX WINNER
Currently at .368, high but not crazy high where you expect an enormous regression.

A lot of talk about the offense but.....
https://blogs.fangraphs.com/a-tale-of-two-pitching-staffs-in-chicago/ Longenhagen with some nice praise for the Sox pitching staff.

Sox might not be aggressive in trading
Ah right, I was only looking at the players listed as RF.
