QUOTE (CWSpalehoseCWS @ Jul 21, 2017 -> 06:07 PM) 4-4 4 HR's. I was thinking 4-4 with 8 hrs

You guys have fallen for a troll post

I like this, following the minors and draft has been fun so far. Of course I will switch my focus when these guys are supposed to be contributing, but I am loving this.

Teams are still new to analytics, read Big Data Baseball about the Pirates in 2014 and their switch over to shifting defense. Even with having overwhelming data the baseball dinosaurs still vehemotely oppose the idea.

QUOTE (Rowand44 @ Jul 21, 2017 -> 12:07 PM) We have 2 or 3 legit prospects pitching daily it seems. Amazing. need more!!!!!

QUOTE (OmarComing25 @ Jul 21, 2017 -> 09:24 AM) I'm hoping he hits like his current road splits (.315/.373/.452) the rest of his career. Fixed that for you

SS will be solved when we have the first pick of 2018 :^)

QUOTE (iWin4Ron @ Jul 20, 2017 -> 11:56 AM) Everybody talks about shedding the salary and the money being an important factor here. Why is this so? My guess is the Robert signing. Opens opportunities to add in a few years as well.

Really hoping the Astros overpay and then whoever they get is a disaster

QUOTE (GreenSox @ Jul 19, 2017 -> 04:26 PM) Yolmer would be an upgrade for the Rays at 2nd. Agreed, I love Yolmer but he doesn't have much of a place on our team anymore.

If I was a contender who needed a bat I would be happy with acquiring Melky. Unfortunately teams dont need him

QUOTE (flavum @ Jul 19, 2017 -> 05:28 PM) Moncada not in the Charlotte lineup! thats because hes with the big club son

QUOTE (KnightsOnMintSt @ Jul 19, 2017 -> 04:50 PM) He seems like a tough guy to put a finger on. He is still relatively young in the sense that he was drafted just last year. However, he is 20. Some people are unimpressed with his power. What do we think he can and will become? Who knows, I did read he had comps to David Justice although I don't see it myself.

QUOTE (Joshua Strong @ Jul 19, 2017 -> 02:30 AM) I think the Sox should start batting Anderson and Moncada 1-2. This gives them the most at bats and if they hit their ceilings, it's where they fit best. Anthony Rizzo batted third instantly after the Cubs called him up. Was he the best hitter on the team? No, but the Cubs knew that his ceiling was batting third. I wasn't a fan of moving Anderson out of the lead off spot, in my opinion he should be batting there everyday. If you say that he was hurting the team and costing them games, please answer this question: What are the Sox playing for? They're rebuilding, not competing for a championship. Player development should be the team's #1 focus, especially now in this first year of a rebuild. Also, all that speed would be fun to watch. Andersons OBP is way too low to be leadoff. Even if he hits his ceiling he will be a bottom of the order guy when these guys get their due.

QUOTE (KyYlE23 @ Jul 18, 2017 -> 11:27 PM) What? No. This is false. Frazier was largely a disappointment in Chicago, bye felicia Didnt know we had an insider in the clubhouse

You have to think Andujar is going to come back as well, no? Rutherford, Fowler, Andujar?

Rutherford... who else!?!

They will wait towards the end of this game to announce it, I agree with the other posters here.

Why do I get the feeling that this is all bulls***?
