    This offense is without a doubt awful right now. However if this bullpen was anywhere close to being as advertised preseason, the Sox would currently be up 5 games minimum on Cleveland.

    Absolutely not....that's why he was so great to watch imo. However, he chose to be a power hitter when he came off the DL in 2005 because that's what the team needed.

    In his prime, his at bats were must see tv whenever possible. Just a joy to watch him hit.

    2005....Frank Thomas comes off the DL and hits some home runs...then goes back on DL. 2021...Adam Engel comes off the IL and hits some home runs....then goes back on IL. All we have to do now is find the 2021 Geoff Blum.
