We might be able to get him and Kip on a Wells package deal. Honestly I hope we can get some good FA options but I do not expect the Sox to spend $ on a top tier free agent pitcher who is looking for a long term deal.

I heard his speech during the radio post game show while driving yesterday. Was it a great speech? Probably not because Harold is not a gifted speaker But it was incredibly sincere, emotional and heart warming. I am glad that I heard it. Harold Baines is a credit to baseball and an absolute gift to White Sox fans everyone. Congratulations Harold!!!

I voted for the decent range option. My guess is that they will go quickly for the type B free agents that they like and offer deals no longer than 3-4 years. Hopefully they target the right guys. I highly doubt that they will be in on the top free agents.
