  1. Fans are just so fickle. WHY DONT WE EVER DO THIS?!?! FUCK THE MANAGER. WAIT, DON'T DO IT LIKE THAT! FUCK THE MANAGER. This happens with every fan base. I realize it's not just Sox fans.
  2. Wasn't someone complaining the previous inning about how we never hit and run, and then they do it (failed miserably, but they did it) and then people are screaming about how he shouldn't hit and run?
  3. Would be nice to see a Grandal bat drop for the 3rd time in 24 hours right about now
  4. Jose average down into the 250s. No bueno, huge slump for him. He is really flailing with runners ob right now
  5. Look all I'm saying is it's not as bad as what people make it out to be. In that situation? Shouldn't have happened.
  6. It's not giving outs away. If it's a good bunt, you are forcing the defense to make a tough play. Like I said, against Holland, yeah let them swing away, but generally, it isn't giving away an out
  7. Lol. I agree bunting in that situation was not the best play, however it's not giving up outs. You are forcing the defense to make a tough play. I've seen a ton of botched plays on the bunt this year, whether it be errant throws, confusion on which base to throw to, difficulty picking up the ball. In that case, if Mendick bunted to the 3B side, it would have been a good play. Would've had 2 runners in scoring position with 1 out instead of 1 runner in sciring position. But he bunted to the wrong man. Against Holland though...probably should let them swing away. Hinch couldn't have come out of that dugout quick enough to get Holland off the mound.
  8. Lets gooooo! Vaughn is gonna be this generation's Konerko.
  9. I wanna see Abreu with a big game changing hit here. Feel like he hasn't had one for a while.
  10. I won't post a link because no one needs to see it, but Rays minor league pitcher Tyler Zombro got hit in the head on a line drive fell to ground face first and immediately started convulsing. Players looked away in horror and he was rushed to the hospital. Currently in stable condition. I've mentioned this a few times, but when do we start having pitchers where helmets? It's only a matter of time until this happens again. I'm surprised it hasn't happened more often. Balls are coming off the bat now harder than ever.
