  1. Pride is an incredibly difficult thing to let go of.
  2. We sat in the nosebleeds at Comerica just last week for Detroit's home opener...and it was a great experience. Got an amazing view of Detroit, and you could clearly see the game action, and we were behind the plate. We also were in the upper deck in Pittsburgh last year, similar experience, behind the 3rd base line. Both parks' upper decks are great. Now, I will say it also can depend on where you're sitting. I've also been in the upper deck in Detroit far down the line, and that kinda sucked lol. But overall, great experience. I'd never sit in the upper deck at a Sox game, unless it's like for a playoff game (LOL) and I don't want to spend $400 for one ticket. I'd rather sit in the Bleachers or any outfield seats, which honestly aren't all that bad either.
  3. I was surprised they tendered him for this season to be honest...but I guess he's not really blocking anyone and they didn't have anything to loss, but if he keeps this up, his major league fate is going to be relinquished to minor league deals and non-roster invites for the future.
  4. Really wish Colson was doing well so they could call him up and send Amaya to AAA where he should be
  5. Vaughn missed 2 cutters served on silver platters for him. You gotta hit those against Crochet. Especially when he gives you TWO in a row.
  6. Because they know they aren't getting a hit swinging. We might get no hit today the way Crochet is throwing.
  7. Brooke Fletcher is a great sideline reporter Also, nice twin killing there
  8. Except Vaughn doesn't launch anything except groundballs to SS
  9. My guess is by mid-May we start seeing Meidroth and Baldwin in the 1 and 2 holes, and not necessarily respectively.
  10. Unless Robert gets hot, and STAYS hot, through May and June, we aren't getting anything of worth back in a trade. IMO.
  11. Hah the red Sox are pissed they're losing to the white sox
  12. Not me. People need to get over it.
  13. So much for this umpire being pitcher friendly
  14. Let's hope the white sox don't rub off on Meidroth
  15. The best the White Sox could do in response to these comments would be to send a message out that looks something like this: "In light of recent comments that have been both directly and indirectly aimed at our organization, we openly acknowledge that we've made a lot of mistakes, and we are actively trying to correct them through reasons x, y, z. We understand that words are simply not enough and we ultimately need results." Something like that we go a LONG way. But they are too damn prideful to do anything remotely like that.
  16. Yeah, but Gio and Dylan are still major league players. They can't really afford to bad mouth other teams. Lynn is retired. I also don't find any fault with what he said. He doesn't sound like he had any angst, he was just stating his observations and lived experiences.
  17. Jerry said it himself, he doesn't play bingo or cards. What the f*** else is he going to do other than own the chicago white sox? I mean, what else is there to do in 2025 when you are a billionaire, other than own the chicago white sox? I can't think of one thing.
  18. I understand the premise behind this...and I also understand it's just one more day...but I don't understand why people are worried or talk about it. How often does this really matter? It mattered exactly 0% for the last "rebuild" and will probably matter the same % for this one. Regardless, this is exciting news, and should be the first call up of hopefully a few more that will give us a reason to at least tune in to the games.
  19. "Damnit Kyle, you couldn't have broken your damn foot on Thursday instead?"
