I was in Detroit for the home opener yesterday (invited by some tigers fans friends of ours). I saw 3 other Sox fans. 44,000 people, and I saw 3 other Sox fans. I know our team sucks but I was expecting to see more than that. But I get it.
Yeah it sounds pretty awesome just based on the description of the event. If we like it I might go for the June 7th one as well where it looks like it's centered more around ballpark food tasting.
Hey, I loved me some Leury Legend. No ripping going on here. However, as already mentioned they are both switch hitters, both primarily contact guys, both platoon (Brooks likely to be anyway).
Although I think Baldwin as a lot more upside
I know a team needs both to be working to win, but if I had to choose I'd rather have the bats working. Don't get me wrong, I love great pitching, but if they are going to lose, I'd rather it be them scoring 5-plus runs a game than 0-2 runs.
