  1. Sale gonna blow a gasket because Robin didn't let him finish the inning...and put Turner in hahahaha
  2. QUOTE (bmags @ Aug 14, 2016 -> 03:00 PM) FYI no hitter in 7th for mets Matz right now Alexei Ramirez broke it up haha
  3. It's kind of sad that, if the Sox win today, they will have swept Miami and gained zero ground in the wild-card race (sitting at 7.5 back behind Boston)
  4. QUOTE (fathom @ Aug 14, 2016 -> 02:30 PM) Sale is such a headcase. Should have been covering home. Yeah, this inning is on him. Kicked the ball with his ankle too (I know he didn't do it on purpose, but still).
  5. Would be nice to see Sale go at least 8 innings to give that bullpen a good rest seeing that tomorrow is an off day before Cleveland and Q will be pitching Tuesday.
  6. QUOTE (Thad Bosley @ Aug 14, 2016 -> 01:20 PM) Loves me some Wimpy! I wanna hear Hawk and Wimpy call a game together.
  7. Excellent woodwork by Jose. This team is so much more fun to watch when they score.
  8. Adam Eaton crushed that. First pitch foul pole homerun. Loving this early scoring recently.
  9. QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Aug 14, 2016 -> 01:04 PM) They just showed a stat that the Sox bullpen has pitched 33 innings in the last 6 games. And opponent's batting average was in the low .200s
  10. The team is actually playing well tonight and everybody is b****ing about every little thing they do wrong...they aren't going to be absolutely perfect geeze.
  11. Who's next??? Lets take bets. I say Melky.
  12. This team just looks dead. I'd we actually had a decent offense that scored an average of 4 runs a game, with so many low scoring close game that have been lost, I bet they would be over .500 right now.
  13. As bad as Reinsdorf's teams have been in the last decade or so, you really can't deny what he has brought to the city of Chicago. 7 World Championships. His legacy is with the Bulls, and he was the first owner to bring a ws trophy to Chicago in 88 years. Unfortunately, he will probably be remembered by most Sox fans as an owner that fielded mediocre teams because of the last decade or so.
  14. As long as he is pitching decently, I wonder how many pitches robin will let ynoa throw
  15. They're dropping like flies. Story of the season. Will Anthony Ronaudo take his spot? Please hopefully not Turner.
  16. QUOTE (caulfield12 @ Aug 11, 2016 -> 07:19 PM) Except he is at total cross purposes with the 2017 team at this point...helping to elevate the win total, taking at-bats from a Saladino or Coats or Garcia (well, that's a bit of a stretch) and very unlikely to be traded for a future asset this month because his pittance of a salary makes a waiver block highly probable. Too bad it's not Avila doing this, because he is under control for 2017...but it's just the way this season has gone. Wasn't Avila signed for a one year deal?
  17. QUOTE (SCCWS @ Aug 11, 2016 -> 08:31 AM) Question to those seeing the Sox on a daily basis. Abreu has been on a tear lately. I wonder how much, if any, has Mourneau helped hitting behind him. Earlier in the year, Melky was hitting well but it didn't seem to help. But it seems to me the arrival of Mourneau seems to coincide w Abreu hitting much better. maybe Abrfeu has just found his groove. Could be the presence of Morneau, but I think the fact that his son is around is the biggest factor as to why he has been performing so well.
  18. Jose Quintana is by far my favorite player on this team. If the Sox hold on to this lead, Q could care less about his own personal win, although he more than deserves it. He will sleep well tonight knowing he pitched well enough to put his team in a position to win the ballgame.
  19. Excellent defense by the white sox in that inning
  20. QUOTE (Insp @ Aug 10, 2016 -> 09:04 PM) Team's ahead, nobody posting. Business as usual. I was posting...and then saw no one else was and then was like well this is awkward lol.
