  1. I don't doubt that with Liam. With his drive to get out there and pitch, I don't think he will let himself not be on the mound for what is hopefully the stretch of games where the Sox are fighting hard for the division.
  2. That's awesome. I love when they do these as it helps us to know the players better. Good to see the life of Robert and his family. Great quality video too. And Dayum what a nice house lol
  3. That is certainly a bold prediction, especially with how volatile pitchers tend to be. I'm pulling for ReyLo. One of the more likeable guys on the team especially when successful.
  4. Eloy looks like he's in the best shape of his life
  5. The only thing that will rectify any of this is winning, and winning big. Or a brand new front office and ownership. Which one is more likely ?
  6. I'm trying to figure out if he said "ima just stfu" like he meant, I said what needed to be said, or like, "I can't believe what I said actually aired so from now on I'm just keeping my mouth shut." Hard to discern what his intent behind his response is to the podcast...
  7. But do they really have insider info? Like, really?
  8. Sorry I read your post from a different POV and took it as you were defending him. We're in agreement
  9. I actually disagree here. He agreed to the contract. That's on him. It was the same thing with Scotty Pippen. He signed the deal. The next year, payrolls skyrocketed. Sorry dude. You agreed to the terms, you abide by them. If he should be pissed at anybody it should be his agent.
  10. This. He has actually had decent stretches of good baseball before they placed him a role that he was set up to fail in. Oh why does that sound familiar? Cough Andrew Vaughn. Cough Gavin Sheets. Cough Eloy Jimenez.
  11. Comiskey was before my time but I've heard really good things about it. Looking forward to seeing this.
  12. The pen is probably the group I have the most concerns about (other than the obvious overall health of everyone). Amazing how much of a difference it makes when you take Hendriks out.
  13. I mean, it's a major upgrade over what we had
  14. Dylan Cease. Andrew Vaughn. Andrew Benintendi.
  15. Just get rid of the blackout bullshit.
  16. And that's on him. He agreed to the deal.
  17. This is kind of where I'm at. All signs are kind of pointing to him just wanting to get out of dodge...
  18. If it's healthy, it can win 90 games. But...that's like saying I'm going to win the lottery tomorrow. It ain't happenin Jack.
  19. Probably figured out they aren't striving to win mightily
  20. If I were a betting man, I would wager that the money collected by the parking lot attendants does not all go to parking lot maintenance lol.
  21. "WE. DON'T. CARE."
  22. Do you think those social media releases have to be approved by Rick, Kenny and Jerry?
  23. Customer service? What's that? Never heard of such a concept.
  24. I'm going to go against the grain here, because why not risk pissing off some folks ? I get there were probably some frustrating moments for Jason, and knowing who is in the Sox FO, nor do I doubt it. And I do understand his desire to "diversify his portfolio" and how it even benefits the Sox in some ways. However, if I were the Sox I'd probably be equally as frustrated. They have to go out and find guys that can do the same job on a part-time basis. There's a reason we get people like Beckham filling in. The broadcasters that have talent have actually full-time broadcasting jobs. IMHO, Jason needs to pick something and stick with that. Also, I think it was unprofessional for Jason to speak to reporters about his frustrations regarding the signing process. Talk about it after you leave/retire. Or not at all. Sox aren't the only ones at fault here... this is a 2 way street.
