If they are going to trade Vaughn then now is the time to do it. If he has another mediocre season his value will become non existent on the trade market. If you believe in Vaughn you don't trade him because that bat can be special. If you are offered a superstar with a few years remaining on their deal, you consider it.

I think baseball is just about acquiring as much talent as possible when you already have a good team. We need a lefty power bat but those guys are hard to come by unless you are willing to trade young guys for it. So at this point for us I just want to add a 2B and RF that can truly play. That would be a significant boost to our title hopes.

The Braves aren't just some scrubs though. They've been to the playoffs consistently and have the best infield in baseball. Solar and Joc filled on nicely for Acuna.

These clowns need a lockout to move things forward and as JR said, a deadline day to make deals. They've had a year to figure this out. They don't understand the bad publicity and negativity coming their way.

Option B but barely because of Bassit. My A scenario would be Lopez replacing DK as 5th starter with an upgrade at the trade deadline if needed. Anything less than Bassit as a SP and I'm going option A with Lopez.
