OF Help at last!! White Sox acquire Haseley from Phils
The Giants have 3 real titles recently, the Dodgers have 1 Covid title. As a Giants fan I would enjoy another great season of many.

Offseason Part 3 - Because Part 2 Was a Dud
Didn't Stone just imply nothing else was happening or needed to?
-
4th best rotation?
5-7? Did we acquire another quality starter like we should have?
-
Offseason Part 3 - Because Part 2 Was a Dud
The irony is that Will Smith laughed at the joke until his wife gave him a dirty look. Then he got "angry" and smacked five.

Vaughn has a hip pointer injury, out 1-2 weeks
Eloy Robert Grandal Madrigal You already did 4.

Vaughn has a hip pointer injury, out 1-2 weeks
Wasn't it @DickAllen who told us he went through the same thing and it was a hip pointer? Or am I mixing it up.

Andrew Vaughn hurts hip pointer, out 1-2 weeks per White Sox
So our should be DH is hurt trying to make a diving catch in the OF. Like our should have been DH last year was hurt trying to rob a meaningless ball in the OF.

Offseason Part 3 - Because Part 2 Was a Dud
I mean we went another 98 pages without a good rumor. Don't know how we did it.

Offseason Part 3 - Because Part 2 Was a Dud
Another 98 pages and no rumors.

Offseason Part 3 - Because Part 2 Was a Dud
That and wouldn't he already know our interest level by now?

Offseason Part 3 - Because Part 2 Was a Dud
No.

Offseason Part 3 - Because Part 2 Was a Dud
They didn't need to do much this off season after they smoked us and have been to 5 straight ALCS'. What have we done this off season to pass them?
-
Offseason Part 3 - Because Part 2 Was a Dud
We are only AL favorites because we have the easiest path to the playoffs and a top 2 seed. The Yankees, Astros, and Blue Jays are better than us. An argument can be made for TB if Glasnow gets healthy.

Offseason Part 3 - Because Part 2 Was a Dud
My bad. I understood what you meant, I was just piggy backing. They aren't cheap but they are conservative with spending and can't seem to bring in quality position players to fill in the gaps.

Offseason Part 3 - Because Part 2 Was a Dud
They spend a lot on short term contracts and contracts for relievers. It isn't cheap, but it isn't a huge financial commitment for difference making players.

Offseason Part 2 - Lets the Rumors & Action Begin
We spend our money and assets on pitching because our front office can't bring in FA or proven position players. They are hoping big time the pitching can carry them over the hump. We have some really good pitching so it could, although not likely.

Offseason Part 2 - Lets the Rumors & Action Begin
We are terrible at reading markets. We assumed we could unload him.

Offseason Part 2 - Lets the Rumors & Action Begin
The Sox did a great job of putting together a lot of talent and giving themselves a great chance at winning their division. What they fail to realize is that other teams will continue to get better and ultimately pass them by if they stay content. Our offseason so far has been a terrible use of available resources. Right now I'd say the Yankees, Astros, and Blue Jays are a step above us.

Not exactly. But he did piss in the cereal a little.

Offseason Part 2 - Lets the Rumors & Action Begin
No Steve. ?

Offseason Part 2 - Lets the Rumors & Action Begin
I thought Hahn and Kenny quit?
-
Gavin Sheets
Fun player to watch hit but has no true future here as a starter. Could easily be the next Palka.
-
Sox sign 2B Josh Harrison (1 yr, 5.5M; club option; 1.5M buyout)
This isn't a championship caliber move on the surface, but stranger things have happened.

Offseason Part 2 - Lets the Rumors & Action Begin
I think the problem is that his contract is holding us back from spending on FA's.

Offseason Part 2 - Lets the Rumors & Action Begin
I'm okay with Kimbrel staying if it doesn't affect our spending. But it will affect our spending, so trade him.
