Sandelin ....please throw strikes, get ahead in counts, and do not walk anybody. Hopefully, Venable has a short leash on him if he gives up the ghost in the first inning or two.

Any update on McDougal ?

Of some interest? Lukas Walton buys into the Bulls
I watched interviews with the Bulls two first round picks and was impressed with everything about them. Bulls are going to be an exciting team that will be fun to watch. Dunks galore. Not quite there with long range shooting yet but tough on the boards and will be amazing in transition. Check in on them then when their season begins, even if you have not been an NBA fan.

Trade Ideas/Rumors/Proposals Thread
Question: On your #2, do you think Gonzo plus, perhaps some lower level prospects be enough to get a decent reliever or even a rental high leverage guy like Aroldis Chapman from Boston ? I'm not sure I would make that trade, but the back end of the Sox bullpen looks like it may be falling apart. Grant Taylor seemed like the answer as our Closer, but ...I don't know now.

Sandlin called up to start, Rock sent down to work on himself
Sandelin had excellent control of his pitches in his first start. In his next start he was aiming and missing the corners and could not get ahead of hitters. As Plesac said ad nauseum, White Sox pitchers have to throw strike one and avoid getting into bad counts. Sandelin has got to do that. His breaking pitch was an effective a strikeout pitch when he got ahead in the count.

Is soccer replacing all the US major sports (except NFL) in popularity?)
I do not watch soccer, golf, hockey, tennis, ping-pong, or politics, so I don't know much about any of those sports.

Thoughts on selling high on Meidroth?
I just said to wait to see what Roch does in the Minors for Csakes.

First Bill Maher, then Blago, and now this other @hole . I disagree.

Thoughts on selling high on Meidroth?
Meidroth has been something of a virtuoso at 2B defensively. He has range to his right and up the middle and has a quick catch and release on double plays. According to Baseball Reference, Chase has a .266 BA with 14 doubles and 6 HR. Replace him? No. What other lame brain ideas are out there to break up one of the best position player groups the White Sox have had since winning the World Series? Then consider his value as a gamer to this team in the clubhouse and on the field. The old adage "if it ain't broke don't fix it" should apply. Roch is the no. 1 pick, but at this point, it is hard to project him as being better than Colson Montgomery or Vargas or Meidroth at their respective positions. Once Roch has proven himself at a position of his choice and has had a minimum of 100 ABs at AAA, then he will get his chance at the major league level. After seeing so many other heralded Draft choices under perform or even fail, I am taking a wait and see approach on Roch. He might be another Bobby Witt Jr, or not.

Thoughts on selling high on Meidroth?
Meidroth will be expendable...LMFAO. You don't know if Roch can play second base like Chase does or hit major league pitching with a wood bat. He may turn out to be over-hyped like Vaughn

An ominous future...
What is Ishbia's position on the salary cap, revenue sharing, etc?
-
“The 78” is alive and well for the Sox, Bears are 'advancing' Hammond development
"Ishbia and/or Related Midwest" ... woah, who knew you were up Related's asss as well?I hate this thread and in particular, your posts which are so maddening, that they draw me in all too frequently. I want this to stop but you keep promoting Ishbia and/or Related Midwest (interesting that you bring Related Midwest into this) like you are a paid troll. The reality is that Reinsdorf, Getz, Venable and the 2026 White Sox would like to win another one. I want to see this team win as well.

Yea I see that. It looks like that system is colored red on the radar and is coming directly down from the North.
