There are guys who don't have great years and get drafted high in the NBA all the time just based on potential. Zach Randolph, Corey Maggette and William Avery are all examples of guys who didn't really have great years in college before they went pro and they were all first round picks. The NBA draft is about potential these days, not about what kind of numbers you put up in college.

Actually, technically Illinois does have a senior (Jerrance Howard), he just never sees the floor so we don't lose anyone of any importance. IU because of the hype surrounding their recruiting class may be the media favorite but I still say if Devin Harris stays than Wisky is the team to beat unfortunately.

They really aren't going to lose much and are going to have Brian Butch (McDonald's AA) who is redshirting this year and Steitsma (sp?) another good big coming in. As long as Devin Harris doesn't go pro, they are the favorites next year.

Augustine has the potential to be great. But right now all he is a solid defender and very good rebounder, who can finish right around the basket. He has zero post moves at this time and needs to develop those if he ever wants to be more than just a decent player. Powell sure plays without a lot of heart but its just two bad he doesn't have a position. If he was just 2 or 3 inches taller he would be unbelievable.
