Most of us are willing to give Duvall 8 million to come be a backup. Someone will feel the same about Pollack. I'd predict we'd also want Pollack for 8 million had he not been with us this year and had the same year.

I think he will get at or above the 8 million.

Merrifield absolutely makes a lot of sense. He can start at RF and/or 2B, and if by chance Colas AND Sosa/Romy steal both those positions, he can become a great super-sub.

Any of those guys at 2B make sense, Flexen (pictured) also makes a lot of sense, can't imagine he'd too cost much

Without reading this, I’m here to just comment that there is no place for him and signing him would be stupid. But like our front office, clearly can’t put it past then.. with 80% of this post revolving around “Sox need more power”, it’s funny that Andrus is that solution with his prior 4 years being 3,3,12,6 homers.

I don't think there is anything that would drive me away. If they move I'd go to less games but I imagine i'd still be obsessed with their terrible organization

You make a lot of new posts for discussions happening in other posts.. but yes, at this time 2B will be filled internally which we've kinda been told all offseason.

You can get Josh Harrison in a trade at the deadline for Jared Kelly's smelly sock. I don't want to sign a guy like that. Let the kids play and earn their spot, or trade for an actual upgrade.
