Except us. We actually seem to have better pitching then a lot of teams in playoffs the past few years and we don't even sniff the playoffs.

Me neither. They must have the main players agreed on in principle and are deciding which guys they want thrown in.

White Sox general manager Rick Hahn clarified what occurred in a statement released at about 6:45 p.m. ET.

 

"Chris Sale has been scratched from tonight's scheduled start and sent home from the ballpark by the White Sox due to a clubhouse incident before the game," Hahn said. "The incident, which was non-physical in nature, currently is under further investigation by the club. The White Sox will have no additional comment until the investigation is completed."

I don't buy the clubhouse incident either.

Now no one cares about the game, Albers pitched yesterday and he's starting. Yikes. This will be brutal.

Albers thru 2IP hasn't given up an ER and thrown only 25 pitches. You can't ask for much more from him so far.

Playoffs

Jennings due to come in but rain delay. Sox ahead 2-1 On 2 base error on Castellanos on a shot by Frazier, Saladino infield single. Avi RBI sac fly to CF. Saladino steal of 2nd which actually was a heads up play where he might have been looking for a ball in the dirt and once he saw it took off and Saltalamacchia didn't catch it cleanly. Then with Saladino running Castellanos heads in towards third to cover it on the stolen base attempt and Navarro shoots a double right past him for an RBI.
