September 15, 20169 yr all i can say is Netflix is killing it. I love their selection, and it just keeps getting better
September 15, 20169 yr Season 3 of Bloodline will be the last on Netflix: http://www.hollywoodreporter.com/live-feed...x-season-928743
September 15, 20169 yr I decided to watch Limitless based on some suggestions earlier in this thread. I really liked it, but I just finished the 1st season and now I'm disappointed to find out it was not renewed for a 2nd season. Though in a way, it's fine because they pretty much wrapped up the 1st season story. No major cliffhangers.
September 15, 20169 yr Speaking of Netflix, I know I am a decade behind, but, I just have to say that Season 4 of Arrested Development was an amazingly perfect piece of television. That might have been the best season of a sitcom, ever. Just brilliant writing, and an even better story line.
September 15, 20169 yr QUOTE (Y2JImmy0 @ Sep 15, 2016 -> 09:04 AM) Season 3 of Bloodline will be the last on Netflix: http://www.hollywoodreporter.com/live-feed...x-season-928743 Well that sucks...
September 17, 20169 yr QUOTE (The Gooch @ Sep 15, 2016 -> 12:41 PM) Well that sucks... Probably for the best. There is only so much they can do with the storyline, smart to be able to come to a good ending.
September 19, 20169 yr Why does this thread exist when the TV water cooler thread exists? All the convo belongs in one spot.

September 19, 20169 yr QUOTE (Steve9347 @ Sep 19, 2016 -> 09:00 AM) Why does this thread exist when the TV water cooler thread exists? All the convo belongs in one spot. Some people can't handle that I started a thread that was successful. sigh
September 19, 20169 yr QUOTE (Brian @ Sep 19, 2016 -> 09:03 AM) Some people can't handle that I started a thread that was successful. sigh Well, in fairness, plenty of dumb threads get lots of replies. SEE: The filibuster :-) No, seriously, we're diluting and confusing the conversations and now they're both hurting because of it. You ruined television, Brian. YOU RUINED IT.

September 19, 20169 yr Author QUOTE (Steve9347 @ Sep 19, 2016 -> 07:00 AM) Why does this thread exist when the TV water cooler thread exists? All the convo belongs in one spot. 1.) I didn't see the other TV thread ( durrrrr ) 2.) It seems this thread has focused on Netflix - which I personally appreciate as I don't have traditional cable - only Netflix and other streaming services. ??
September 20, 20169 yr Author Watched Soaked in Bleech finally. Know I'm late to the party - didn't watch it earlier as I thought it was going to be more focused on Kurt's life. It however brought about a lot of stuff about his death that was all new to me. Worth watching.

September 20, 20169 yr QUOTE (BigSqwert @ Sep 20, 2016 -> 04:43 PM) Atlanta has been picked up for another season. Great show so far.
September 21, 20169 yr I enjoyed The Good Place. Some good laughs in there. Excited for Designated Survivor tonight. Would have been 100 times better on a cable network, though, so I'm not holding my breath.

September 21, 20169 yr QUOTE (KyYlE23 @ Sep 21, 2016 -> 10:35 AM) Netflix has a goal of making 50 percent of their programming original They smartly realized years ago that studios were going to start demanding a king's ransom for their content. To stay ahead of it they needed to create their own library that people would want.
September 21, 20169 yr Author QUOTE (KyYlE23 @ Sep 21, 2016 -> 08:35 AM) Netflix has a goal of making 50 percent of their programming original That would require an INSANE amount of content. I N S A N E
September 21, 20169 yr QUOTE (hi8is @ Sep 21, 2016 -> 02:41 PM) That would require an INSANE amount of content. I N S A N E It sure would be. I would hope, though, that they continue to put out quality programming. Going for quantity by skimping on quality could end up with fewer subscribers, especially if they reduce the amount of content from the outside.

Would have been 100 times better on a cable network, though, so I'm not holding my breath. Would have loved to see it on Netflix or a movie channel. It's about time Jack Bauer became the President. If he was the primary decision maker in 24 the show would have been call 8.
