December 11, 20169 yr QUOTE (iamshack @ Dec 10, 2016 -> 09:08 PM) He skipped their fan festival as a result of the Eaton trade, and so they said the hell with you. I bet he was the "WTF" text that Rosenthal got. What a s*** thing to do to the fans.
December 12, 20169 yr QUOTE (reiks12 @ Dec 12, 2016 -> 07:08 AM) Dodgers confident they will get Turner according to Olney. Dammit. Not too shocking though. Haven't read anything connecting him anywhere else.
December 12, 20169 yr As @Buster_ESPN reported #Dodgers and Turner are progressing toward deal. He wanted to return, LA badly wants. Marriage both sides want. https://twitter.com/Joelsherman1/status/808345661020262404
December 12, 20169 yr Joel Sherman has it sounding like the Turner deal is all but done. No idea what is going on with Jansen. Looks pretty likely that the Sox will not get a crack at any of the Dodgers farm system. Edited December 12, 20169 yr by Con te Giolito

December 12, 20169 yr QUOTE (SoxAce @ Dec 12, 2016 -> 12:20 PM) Wow.. wonder who the Marlins (and Nationals for that matter) look at now for a closer... I've heard the name Colome, of the Rays, mentioned a few times over the past week.
December 13, 20169 yr Source: John Danks has signed with the Atlanta Braves. Danks, 31, is coming back after sitting out most of 2016. It's a minor league deal. https://twitter.com/JeffPassan/status/808472731058577408
December 13, 20169 yr Sources: #Rays getting inquiries on Colome, but setting price they believe is appropriately high. Only slim chance to contend without him. https://twitter.com/Ken_Rosenthal/status/808478345709158400

Sox should seriously just sign Boone Logan and take him off the market for Jennings. Then just trade him in July or next off-season (if he signs a multi-year deal).
