I was amazed that Fulmer lasted more than two innings yesterday. Here's to many more good outings from Carson.

Hip-hip Hooray!

Hip-hip Hooray!

I'm guessing LF is there for the taking by whomever can hit and field decently.

Delmonico had some fine at bats last season. Hope the fielding improves.

When will Dedelow be ready? Was his spring training pinch hitting HR a fluke?

Fulmer's cutter was filthy last night. His change up was pretty good too. His performance is even more impressive considering he didn't have a feel for his curve ball.

Dedelow is a loooong ways off and not really an after thought at this point, especially with Robert, Adolfo, Basabe and Rutherford ahead of him on the OF prospect depth chart. LF is only up for grabs until Eloy comes up.

Rahimi>Santos, in every way

They're both pretty blah.

wow, actually a decent crowd.

Yep glad Hawk is in the booth. Very cool seeing AJ throw out the first pitch to Hawk.

Miguel Cabrera’s looking rather puffy

Exactly. ... And for those who don't like our announcers, this is a terrific half inning describing what you just said and other things.

away, away, away, seems like he's going to make a mistake here and leave one middle in.

James Shields...

Easily one of the most frustrating Sox pitchers to watch, that I can remember.

Shields stinks IMO. We need a pop up here. Or deep fly out to CF.

This is about as bad as Danks starting the home opener a couple of years ago.

Not sure if Omar has always had that gear...but I'm a fan of the all white/grey catchers gear he has.

yea it looks really slick. I noticed it too, I like it.

lol, cock shot "breaking ball" hangs dead red over the heart of the plate and it's popped up. Thank god.

There's a name drop.Seeing that live was about as bad as it gets.

Not gonna lie, hearing the Hawk makes me feel happy even though he became a caricature of himself the last few years.

Fifty years on: Opening Day April 10, 1968. Season was delayed one day for MLK funeral. Widespread civil unrest in Chicago. Attendance about 7,700. A significant social/ cultural moment for the White Sox attendance challenges. I believe nine home games were played in Milwaukee.

Hawk was nice for a batter or two. Now he's rambling.

Solid AB by Matt.
