I bet on the Sox today...let's do this.

Sox just can't escape bad weather. Have they played an outdoor game above 45 degrees?

Hey the weather out here sucks too! Seriously. It's going to be about the same in Oakland as it is in Seattle today -- mid 40s, light rain. Game time temp probably around 48.

We're about 10 degrees below average out here too...thankfully it's supposed to warm up starting tmr and the rest of the week looks nice. Wednesday will be a really nice afternoon for baseball.

The Tuesday night and Wednesday afternoon games should be pretty nice. If the sun is out on Wednesday it might even feel warm.

Just that one home game last week when it was about 60 out.

As long as they don't call it..

This A's pitcher looks worse than 2017 Saladino with that facial hair

How many teams are playing in good weather? I'd figure only a few have had ideal weather so far. We need to start winning some games, now would be a good start.

1. Moncada, 2B

2. A. Garcia, RF

3. Abreu, 1B

4. Davidson, DH

5. Delmonico, LF

6. Castillo, C

7. Sanchez, 2B

8. Anderson, SS

9. Engel, CF

Wondering how rusty these young pitchers will be.

Especially the bullpen where there used to more regular work. Might have no command at all.

Really hoping these last 3 games allowed Moncada to clear his head. He should treat this as a fresh slate. Would be great to see him stop pressing and see some results. Those hard hit balls have to start getting through at some point.

Almost feels like opening day again. Excited to see Lopez at least he looks like the dynamic guy that could grow into a TOR type with more seasoning. Plenty of bright spots on the farm early but at the mlb level Lopez is about the only guy meeting or surpassing expectations and hopes.

Saw a shot of the park an hour ago. It was sunny.

Radar still has some cells moving south toward Oakland. We’ll see. Still going to be windy and cold.

it's too bad the game is so late, even for us west coasters. not going to be getting much help from the sun after 6pm tonight one way or another.

Dropping the sun out there may rob the storms of any energy.

I'm really not sure what's worse to play in 48 and damp or 35 and dry. Both absolutely suck. I would say fielding in the damp weather is worse. Batting in the cold is just brutal with the vibration, most of that is gone in the upper 40s.

Maybe Jason will humor stone with such a question tonight.

baseball, eh?

probably will be an earthquake and PPD.

Man, Chuck must read these boards if you just track what he talks about all of the time.

I'm pretty sure he does.

Okay. Just hit the White Sox moneyline at +140.

Bet the Yanks run total over today and they're currently up 12-1. Let's hope my luck rubs off on the Sox.

Let's go boys
