This is a one and done. I just had to sign up to let the White Sox fans know the Farquhar is in our prayers. Though it's been a while, we experienced a similar event with J R Richard when he suff

What an absolute miracle he signed with the sox, and this happened during a Sox home game a couple miles from one of the best brain treatment facilities on the planet.

The fact they are talking about him pitching again is incredible.  What a miracle.

Great to read. TBH, wasn't a big fan of his pitching,  but he seems like a great guy. Looks to help teammates. Is admired by all of them, and seems like a great family man. So happy for him and hi family and friends the scary part seems to have passed. Great job by all the medical people, from those who first helped him to those caring for him in the hospital.  Maybe this will put a little spark into the team.

What a relief!!! Go Danno. He will surely throw first pitch when he is up to it.

No doubt.

Can definitely see him being part of coaching or a front office in the future. Dude studies the analytics side of the game like few pitchers do.

Very pleased by this news, but I still have doubts as to whether he'll actually appear in an MLB game again. Hope he proves me wrong.

Absolutely fantastic news!

Just heard the news here on 710 in Seattle (he's a former Mariner) and WOW!  That's so awesome.   Happy for his family and Danny.

Don't let him watch the games or he'll blow another vein.

MLB network's morning show MLB Central had a segment about 15-20 minutes on Danny that was done by Matt Yaloff who also had a stroke . Matt was talking to Danny about what he remembers , about pitching again, his wife, the doctors at the hospital, Herm Schneider , Nate Jones and others about everything from Danny pitching that night to where he is right now.

Just a great inspiring segment and I highly recommend keeping an eye on MLB Networks website or twitter to see when they post it.

Just a little preview on where he is pitching wise. He hit 90 in a practice condition , not on a mound and he said he had never done that before.

CSN has been running a good interview by Chuck Garfien talking about a lot of the same stuff.  Crazy how lucky this guy is.
