This is a one and done. I just had to sign up to let the White Sox fans know the Farquhar is in our prayers. Though it's been a while, we experienced a similar event with J R Richard when he suff

What an absolute miracle he signed with the sox, and this happened during a Sox home game a couple miles from one of the best brain treatment facilities on the planet.

C'mon SS, use the new Twitter embed function!!!

On my phone now, but will try tomorrow.

Does the function work from the phone too? I presume?

Yikes hope it’s not something serious like a brain tumor. Is he a diabetic?

Scary shit

If anything, this turned me into a fan, hope he's doing well

Dehydration? That's scary to see for a young person to go through

Good luck Fark . Get well soon. Hope it's not anything life threatening.

Nightengale’s latest tweet suggests this could be something very serious.

Hopefully he’s ok and there’s an update at 3. That seems to be the normal media time for a 6pm start.

Wow, that is crazy. I hope he will be okay

I saw on the White Sox original tweet last night that someone with the same last name as him was making a joke. Don't know if they are related or not

Holy s***.

Hoping for the best at this point.

Get well soon, Danny!

Damn. Best wishes dude.

If anything, thank goodness there was medical staff RIGHT THERE.

My wife survived this but did not have a rupture. They go up thru a groin artery into the brain and patch coils together to repair the damaged area. He may have permanency from the hemorrhage and who knows if he would be cleared to play sports. They have ongoing issues to varying degrees.

Feel sick reading this.  Hopefully he can pull out of this without too many complications.

Really unfortunate it was that serious. Hope he pulls through and can live a relatively normal life even without sports.

I know very little about this but it obviously sounds absolutely awful, life threatening, and makes his dignity is more of a worry now than is the potential to play baseball ever again.

?

That's scary stuff.  Soxtalk well wishes!

This is absolutely utterly terrible. Prayers to Danny and his family. Hope he ends up recovering with the best possible outcome!!!

From the tone of some of the people who are more likely to know how Danny is doing than we are, this seems very, very grave. It is not all that uncommon to hear about healthy young people dying from brain hemorrhages — nobody is coming out and saying that may be the outcome here, but it looks like it may be that serious.
