Maybe Sanchez or Davidson can have roles too. Things are starting to come together. Just have to keep in mind the Sox are 29th in payroll with $24.75 million coming off the books via Shields, Soria, MiGo and Santiago. Burdi won't pitch this year.

May 9, 20187 yr Author On his last double, he was out trying to get a triple because millenials are obsessed with cycles these days. Edited May 9, 20187 yr by flavum

May 9, 20187 yr Jameson Fisher has been inconsistently raking, good to see, felt he was somewhat rushed to AA due to system depth but not overmatched
May 9, 20187 yr 8 minutes ago, raBBit said: Based off of? Did I miss something? I don't know what's been said. I assumed since his injury was mid to late last year that we wouldn't see him until 2019.
May 9, 20187 yr 1 hour ago, raBBit said: Yup. Send Basabe, Call and Booker to AA, send Eloy to AAA, send Luis Gonzalez and Robert to A+ and shut down Micker in time so he could be ready for opening day next year even with a minor set back. Charlotte - LF - Jimenez CF - Tilson RF - Cordell BHAM - LF - Booker CF - Basabe RF - Call. Polo mixes in they and all rotate to DH. Cut Barnum and put Fisher at 1B. W-S - LF Luis Gonzalez CF Robert RF - Rutherford. Adolfo handles DH until he needs to shut it down. I dig that alot Side note not on the topic of outfielders but they may deserve a call up to AAA in the not too distant future, there is still time and a chance for him.

Yeah, this should be our worst stretch. Still too many fringe guys or veterans who basically have no shot of being on our next good team. Watching young players develop can be painful at times but is ultimately rewarding.

May 9, 20187 yr Anyone find out a consensus on Eloy? Did they just take him out because they were up big, or is he really hurt?
May 9, 20187 yr no reason to rush people right now. let them develop.....the tankathon needs to continue at the big league level....just think - its possible that in little over 1 year - to add to our already ridiculous system - we will be adding another #4 overall pick (just for reference - we have only drafted in the top 5 once since 1990 - rodon) and likely will be adding another top 5 (possibly top 3, potentially evne number 1) pick .

I wasn't watching, so I didn't hear if the announcers said anything, or if he had played defense the inning prior. Nothing on twitter other than those speculating he is being called up to AAA, although doing that mid-game would be weird.

May 9, 20187 yr In the big league game, Delmonico left and is day to day with bruised quad. JUST SAYING
May 9, 20187 yr Yeah, 1 guy (sam dykstra(?)) said he wasn't injured. I'm guessing it was just due to the blow out and not a call up or #hugwatch or anything
