May 18, 20187 yr Much needed win. Let’s try to string several together and get one of those streak things.
May 18, 20187 yr Moncada 3-4, and the one out was a plate appearance in which he took 6 balls and 0 strikes, but got screwed by the ump. Great game

May 18, 20187 yr 3rd time this year Sox have won when trailing in the 7th inning or later. Refreshing change. On the postgame show Melton was wondering how Jones continues to get himself in trouble with the "stuff" he has.

Dad Gumit.
May 18, 20187 yr Just watched all of Yoan's ABs. Good lord this dude just RIPS THE FUCKING BALL against RHP. He had a triple easy on that stuck under the padding play. Oh well. He is an impressive player in all ways.

May 18, 20187 yr Has there ever been a White Sox with the power and speed combo of Moncada? There hasn't been in my lifetime that's for sure. Closest would maybe be Rock or Ray Durham. Ramirez in his absolute prime best month perhaps. This same guy also is 5th in exit velocity and has a .250 ISO on the year: Edited May 18, 20187 yr by chitownsportsfan

May 18, 20187 yr This has been said a few times, especially since he has turned it around, but Moncada is must-watch TV right now. He's looking much more confident at the plate, and he's just killing the ball.
