Maybe this will be where we bring in Ian at the end of the year.

Yea Volstad is ok for mop up duty, but you need a stuff guy for this high leverage situation.

    That's really dramatic.

  • Great at bat by Avi. I wish you all would give me one good reason he should not anchor our WS teams. Geez louise you guys frustrate greg. It's not like he's old.

    Don’t say that yet

Tank Commander or it's their turn ? Keeps the other guys from being overused like earlier in the season when they couldn't handle it ?

It's simple, if your bullpen is so overworked that you have to use Volstad here, then why in the hell do you pull Shields so early?

No reason to pull Shields early.

Never said they were overworked . Preventing them from being overworked+ Tank Commander + paid to lose which is why he won't get fired. No reason to get worked up about it. It's all according to the master plan.

At least now there’s a force everywhere. Yeah, silver lining.

Feel better knowing the jabronis who put the master plan together know that Ricky is awful and will upgrade when the time is right

Volstad gets two strikes on the hitter and then can’t find the strike zone

what a horrible playing Davidson. More little league bullshit

JFC, nevermind, Matt is as bad as Jose.

Welp, that is the dumbest defensive play I've seen in years.

WTF was that Matt? Just throw it home

Just play Davidson at 1B, the hell with what Jose wants.

Good idea

How is this stupid play continuing to be allowed under this idiot?  Every game, there are plays made that make you wonder if these guys have ever played baseball.

I don’t think that’s a terrible play by Matt. If he steps on first, there is no chance to get the guy at home. So either way, best case scenario is only getting one out. Throwing home gets the lead guy and nobody scores.

I understand that they are up by two runs, but it’s not an awful play if Omar knows it’s a force.

If I didn't know better.

I might think

that this team is TRYING to lose.

Then you don't take four running steps toward the base before you throw. Even if throwing was the right call, once you've committed to tagging the base, you have to tag the base. Basic, Pony-league fundamentals.

And why is Engel throwing home and not to third there?  Another idiotic play

this team is fucking awful.  you can only laugh.

Yeah throw home right away then. Instead it was a play a Little Leaguer would make

And Yolmer doesn't keep the tag on either. What a stupid freaking team
