You've got guys like Alex Call who are way down on the prospect lists posting .900 OPS in AA. The white sox have to have surpassed the yankees, padres, braves of the world. I know Toronto is looking good too. Is any system as good as ours? I'm not as familiar with others.

July 30, 20187 yr Sox fans aren’t good at this stuff because they compare our system to what it used to be vs comparing it truly to all other franchises. I don’t think anyone has the time for that but after the year of injuries I’d probably take Yankees or brave for under 25 talent.
July 30, 20187 yr in terms of highest ceiling players, I'd take our farm system without question. In terms of safest bet systems (for solid MLB regulars), I'd take the Padres without question.

But the injuries have taken their toll, too. Giolito, Lopez and Fulmer all lost their rookie status last year, or the beginning of this year...along with Moncada.

I like our system, but I'd have to say the Padres have the best farm in baseball right now. The Rays have a sneaky good system as well that nobody is really talking about. White Sox, Braves, Padres, Rays have the strongest systems right now I'd say Diamondbacks, Mariners, Red Sox, Cubs have the weakest

The Padres beat the Sox on both top end talent and depth, while the Braves just kill with their depth.

Sox farm is also having a really bad year, could rebound next year and still be top 5 even with Jimenez and Kopech (hopefully) graduating.

The injuries have sucked, but overall this has been a fantastic year. The only guy who has really fallen off is Hansen and it’s way too early to write him off. The Sox are clearly top three with the Padres & Braves IMO.
July 30, 20187 yr Injuries are a big deal. If Luis Robert and Burger can't stay on the field, those a two huge busts. Dunning and Hansen have spent extensive time on the shelf. Eloy has been on the DL multiple times. These aren't minor concerns.

Oh wait... It’s also too early to worry about Dunninng or Robert due to injuries. Burger and Hansen maybe. You clearly also did not factor in the great year guys like Basabe, Rutherford, Adolfo, LuGon, Collins, and others are having. The stocks on those 5 guys have rebound quite a bit that they are either at the latter part of the Top 100 or that they just missed it; and the guys in the lower minors who put themselves on the map this year. I think they are clear top 3. Anything outside of 4 is asinine.
