He’s gotta learn how to pitch with his weaker end of game stuff. We’re up 4 runs, tigers lineup is bad. Let him try some different sequences and gain experience.

Absolutely. The only way I don't let him out is because he only threw 50 pitches his last game. I still don't like Cooper letting him sacrifice velocity. His spin rate is already elite with high velocity. I hope somebody is in Coop's ear about that since I still believe the game has passed him by.

  • Benetti is so good. I love him with a rejuvenated Stone. It will be a blessing to never hear blow-hard Hawk again after this season.

  • Alan Trammel wasn't even that good.

  • My new favorite announcer is Mute Sound.

Adam with the boosters switched on there

Great last name.. Smoker

Should be a new pitcher for the 7th. Sox will be monitoring his innings for the rest of the year. No reason to push him now . He got 4 more starts yet to go.

Probably good his first name isn't Paul.

Palka walked which is good, but was hoping to use this great phrase:

More like Smolka

My autocorrect misspelled isn't and shortened it. We're on the same page with your quick ass response.

Yeah looked like he was just sitting there

Why Moncada didnt swing at that 92 mph fastball down the middle with the bases loaded ill never know.

I held in a shit because of your autocorrect? Dammit.

Uh, because he's Yoan Moncada and someone taught him that taking pitches is good in and of itself, and not that it's good in that it allows you to find your pitch and KILL it.

I literally corrected it 10 seconds later.

The pitcher had just walked in a bases loaded run on a WP, too, maybe he wanted pitcher to show him he could.

Anyone else feel like Engel's and Garcia's OF defense was very MEH/bad during the last Kopech inning?

If he swung at that pitch, there would’ve been a lot of “WHY IS HE SWINGING FIRST PITCH AFTER 3 STRAIGHT BALLS?!?!?!”

We'll see if this pitch to contact philosophy works with Kopech,  but this is what I was afraid of when he came up. Coop fucking with him.

Hes on an innings limit. The last thing you need is a blown out arm over a meaningless game. Kopech did his job today no reason to push it.

How is it pushing it with a pitch count in the 80s

Are innings pitches?

So if he had thrown 7 shutout innings with 75 pitches, you’d advocate that he doesn’t throw the 8th?
