Only thing that would top off this year with our luck in the pipeline is if Eloy gets injured...

It will be cool to see videos of him mashing taters, but really why risk his injury to play in this? He's not nothing left to prove.

If I'm Hahn, I don't allow him to play winter ball. Just not worth the risk. 

Don't quite get it. Winter ball makes sense if you miss two months with injury to get a few more reps. I think eloy was on the dl last year but it only was a short stint and he did have 500 PAs. He doesn't need the extra rest.

 

I think the Sox should wrap Eloy in bubblewrap and put him in a case and display him on the concourse of GRF. Maybe rope it off so no one can get too close, so something can't go wrong. . Have him spend the next 6 seasons as a museum piece. No sense putting him out on the field. He might get hurt.

I agree! these guys should be doing nothing that could get them hurt! Especially playing baseball! He should probably be sitting or laying down for the display, that would probably be safest.
