So weird heading into a bears season with expectations again. I really believe in Nagy, so I'd be pretty bummed if there is major regression this year.

NFC North is going to be a tough division this year.

I agree.

Bears 11-5

Packers 10-6 (WC)

Vikings 8-8

Lions 7-9

The Sox have had their share of injuries. They have that part down.

Bears have dealt with very minor injuries so far (knock on wood).

Another year, another Kyle Long fight in practice. That guy fights every year it seems. I get it, you are very competitive and get the best out of yourself, but enough is enough. Lots of players fight in practice, but when you are now getting a rep about you every year, it isn't ideal.

I'm a big fan of Kyle Long, he's probably my favorite player, but yeah he really doesn't need to be so extra all the time. Dial it back now and then, nobody will think less of you. Dude is a teddy bear once he leaves the field though.

ESPN continued their Patriots circlejerk by predicting the Lions(!!!!!) win the NFCN this year.

Preseason is so bad, they have to cut it down to two games.

All I do when I watch is pray no one gets hurt.

Its' a chip or an edge he has that probably wouldn't work in many situations, but probably makes him a better football player.

Unfortunately there is zero chance that happens.

I don't know when, but I do think that at some point in my lifetime both sides will realize how much extra money there would be in turning the schedule into an 18 game regular season and a 2 game preseason.

There is some sort of a blueprint already, I think Florio has talked about it.   Basically they will be able to expand rosters and have some sort of a new injury designation, larger practice squad, I think multiple byes

That's the easy stuff. The hard stuff is who gets the additional money. The players could make a case that they're putting themselves at a larger risk so to agree to extra games they would want a larger share of the revenue for those games and the owners...well you know how it goes when a players union asks for a bigger revenue share.

Montgomery not playing tonight means I'm not watching the Bears tonight

Look whose back.

For what, 10 games? He's a clown

Don't think there will be a qb controversy this season

Man Kerrith Whyte is insanely fast. Just had a kickoff return for a TD called back cause John Franklin III had a holding call (he also got burned for a TD so he's had a terrible game).

I didn't watch the game. Did Ridley play tonight?
