Rondon in LF

At the game. Watching the line-up on the rail during the anthem, amazing how weak this team is, this far into the rebuild.... lucky if they win 70. Thanks Rick/Kenny, great job.

Notice how many of our players hit the ball on the first pitch instead of trying to work the count.  Such is the quality of both Hahn's scouting and player development.

All those base runners and one lousy run ?

Rondon pumping the sky for catching a routine fly ball

Ahh nice to sit back on the feast day of St.Joseph, drink a Zywiec, and enjoy the White Sox.

Man do I want Leury to stay healthy. Too bad the Jay signing eats into his playing time.

Abreu having a nice game.  OPS over 1000 on the spring now.  Trade him while you still can??? (Just joking, I think.)

Moncada at least managed not to strike out and advanced Leury over to 3rd there.

Jose beast mode this spring

That's ReyLo's 1st K? Geeze.

As long as you realize it isn't sustainable, sure.

Mendick at bat. He'll probably do something good

As long as you realize it's still spring training and also that pitchers sometimes don't have their best stuff. Also must realize the best pitchers become even better when they do learn to pitch without that best stuff.

Aren't you the one who keeps speaking so highly of Banuelos this spring? This quote seems ironic.

Of course I realize that. Not trying to complain too much, but I still think missing bats is an important skill. If Mark Buehrle came up today I don't think he'd have a shot. Hitters league wide are too patient. He always used to struggle against the A's, Red Sox, Yankees and other teams built on taking walks and making pitchers work.

Yeah. Banuelos was missing bats until his last start. He didn't miss any during that one. That is concerning. That is the one thing I look at in ST for pitchers. Do they miss bats and get Ks?

Agreed. Striking out minor league filler means nothing.
