Never seen Jones throw so slow. This pitching group is a disaster.

Is there something they're doing since Herm Schneider retired that is causing every pitcher to have a significant velocity drop? Serious question.

  • People complaining about the team aren't necessarily "miserable". It doesn't take much to make a post chastising a player for messing up. Doesn't mean watching the game pains them. Fans still want to

Might be time to end the Jones experiment. His body failed him his entire career,  and I think there has just been too much damage for him to be what he once was.

Coop will fix ‘em

Was just about to say you could do a lot worse things than walk Merrifield

Managing so far has been horrible in the two games....at least it truly doesn’t matter

Thought the bullpen was going to be a strength? These guys blow

I'm not sure if Jones is going to be on the team by next week

Another really puzzling viewpoint from the offseason I never understood. Herrera’s clearly fading and Jones can’t be counted on.  Colome should be solid but still a bunch of mediocrity.

Kimbrel, anyone?

I was surprised they picked up his option this past offseason.

Probably should have been on IL to start the season.

The bullpen- Fry, Colome, Herrera, Frare, Hamilton (when healthy), will be good. The Jones/Banuelos types are another story

Probably the dumbest thing they could do

Bullpen likely to be better than the rotation in that rotation is probably going to be very close to the worst while bullpen will be merely bottom half of the league, bottom third-ish

Is KC already farther along in their rebuild than the Sox? Merrifield and Mondesi both look like players who are gonna be putting up 5 plus WAR for the next 7-8 years. Keller is only 22 and looks better than anyone in the Sox organization right now.

Our pitching staff has felt behind schedule in 4 of the last 5 years.

Jack it's not even April. Chris sale was throwing 92 his first start. Is he finished? Velocity can be down early in the season for a lot of reasons, weather being one.

Jones velocity has been depleted by about 200 injuries.

Merrifield is like 28 already

No but they are much better at developing talent than the Sox (who isn’t).  I do like their top two hitters though.

Some things under RR never change score and give runs back as always. Jones days are numbered

Can anyone throw or catch?

What a clown show. None of these pitchers have anything on their pitches.

The Washington Generals of baseball.

Lol like watching a little league team throw the ball around the field. Just embarrassing.
