Hawk being a fan of the team is what I miss the most. For Stoney and Benetti, it's a paycheck. Hawk was relatable because he suffered through the same shit we did as fans and you could hear it in his

The Sox sucked for most of Hawk's broadcasting tenure. The difference is that Hawk got really cranky about 10 years ago, especially with regard to the umps. Other times, he'd just sulk and not say any

Don’t lead the league in strikeouts with an actual plan at the plate....duh

Cleveland lineup about as brutal as ours.  We really need to take advantage of this series

Palka is fine as a DH. Problem is many of his teammates are better suited to that role as well.

Rather than leaving him at the bottom of that godawful river, it might be interesting to see if he's worth a young middle reliever at the deadline.

YoYo looking really damn good at 3B.

Moncada looks good at 3rd

They wouldn’t win 85 games in just about any other division

He won't be.  Every team in baseball has a Daniel Palka or two in their minor league system.  Only the Sox are dumb enough to start him in RF.

I had wondered why the Sox drafted Madrigal last year. After watching Moncada at 2B last year and at 3B so far, it makes sense now.

Can you blame him?

Eloy is off to a very slow start

No protection so just keep throwing junk....except Clevinger junk is elite and he can locate.

Do not guess slider

Dude's 22. Expect some growing pains for then next year or two.

He's in his head now and I don't blame him. Slider after slider after slider...you know the fastball is coming at some point....or it could be another slider.

Yup. Gonna be a bit of growing pains mentally for him. Glad it's happening now though.
